From the team , We are happy to announce that ACCET news has completed its one year since its start (Jan 1 ,2015).The team of enthusiasists has  grown in time and this will continue for years to come. ISTE MEGA EVENT: A feast for the geeks... Yup! ISTE threw a mega event on tuesday this week at admin block for all the departments to improve their technical skills. This is not only a technical based but also fun based event, so its a sad news for party poopers. In the history of ACCET, this was the first time that we had so much participation... Oh yeah! CAMPUS DRIVE Two software companies Infofaces and NY systems, visited our college last week. NY systems, a web hosting company, is exclusively meant for women and is located in Kerala. A total of 25 students got selected, 9 from EEE, 9 from ECE and 7 from CSE department. Infofaces is located in Chennai with its headquaters in the U.S. Here 8 students, 2 from MECH, 1 from EEE,1 from ECE and 4 from CSE department got selected and 2 got internship. As a fruit of their hardwork, totally 33 were placed in the placement drive last week. FIRST YEAR RESULT Just after the three days of their semester exams, the results were released online @ www.accet.co.in . THE RESULT AT LAST!!! After much dissapointments at each message received for so many days,  the results atlast came like a thief upon the poor sleeping souls yesterday at 5 am. Never in the history of ACCET hostels was such a day whence all the students were super active before 6 in the morning.  Amid such a commotion our ACCET Online team came up with a cgpa calculator where you can get your GPAs calculated when you give the grades and their credits. The new move by the team is worth commending. ROCA EVENT -  Yup! A very interesting event was conducted by the Rotract club on monday. It was named "POW OWW". The name is as interesting as the event. They had a group discussion on the view of the engineers about the chennai flood. And also most interesting discussions on whether it is sufficient for ACCET to be in the 47th place in India or if it is more than enough. The Students of Second , Pre-final and Final Year welcoming their wet even semester cheerfully in spite of heavy rain. As the results of  odd semester is yet to be released ,the  students are more dynamically hoping this even semester will bring in a new fragrance.For ACCETIANS, this is an important semester to enjoy and learn where they learn by participating in symposiums ( inter and intra tech symposiums) and enjoy with sports and cultural activities with the refreshing club activities.This full fun packed challenging semester starts gracefully today (7/12/2015).To all the researchers, inquisitive thinkers, sports persons , onstage performers -YES!-the day of our  dreams has finally arrived !!
