  ALUMNI VISIT Our college's senior most alumni  Mr.SRINIVASAN and Mr.SINGARAM of 1954-1958 batch, the THIRD batch of mechanical engineering in ACCET visited our college on Monday. Mr.SRINIVASAN had his higher studies in UK and worked in R&D, TATA MOTORS, at PUNE.Mr.SINGARAM worked in NLC and has contributed many projects to NLC. PONGAL CELEBRATIONS Pongal  honours the pride of south India, which is nothing but Agriculture !!!! Everyone of us may have the wish of celebrating pongal in a traditional way , which includes a lovely village providing a warm welcome to us with its green carpet and a happy home with relatives or friends around .  With the blessings of nature , pongal was celebrated heartily, hoping for a prosperous year ahead . SAINT GOBAIN campus drive : Saint Gobain is a leading glass manufacturing company in the world. It offers summer internship program for 3rd year students. The program includes four days training in industry and assignment of individual projects for the students in their plant itself. The internship will be in Sriperumpudhur plant. The duration is 45 days. Based on the performance in the project and review scores and the performance in the technical interview held at the end of the internship canditates will be shortlisted for the  final interview with M.D of the company.
