A TRIBUTE TO THE LEGEND July 27 ,2015 - The day when the Whole nation burst into Tears. Yes... The day our beloved former president, Dr.A.P. J.AbdulKalam passed away. It has been 1 Year since he passed away. The missile man who was awarded 40+ doctorates by various institutions. Even the Father Of India, Mahatma Gandhi have haters. But not this man. The man who has been the Role model & Inspiration for Billions of peoples especially youngsters. In this modern world ruled by social medias ,Even Youngsters who kept fighting for  their favourite Actors were united to shed tears for the fall of this missile man. We can be so proud because we  may be the last generation who witnessed a President who hasn't used his Power & Fame for his Self Undertakings. FOR ALUMNI AND STUDENTS WHO REGISTERED LAST YEAR, YOU CAN USE THE SAME LOGIN AND CONTINUE USING IT. 2. Resume review portal - Students can load resume and Alumni can comment. 3. Jobs/interns can be posted via Thiran website (this could be internal/ or for company job posting/personal referral etc.). 4. Past projects can be viewed based on years. 5. There is an option to continue your project from previous year, Projects are not restricted to 1 year anymore. Go deep and detailed. This option is subject to approval by Thiran committee - we don ’ t encourage re-doing/copy pasting same project. 6. There were to-do lists and project timeline which were hardly used. E lab: e lab is an android app developed indigenously by a student team of final year EEE  which is just an extension of their third year mini project.The app removes all the difficulties in circulating lab experiments.Presently,the pilot run of the app is being done  for the  seventh semester Power system simulation lab of EEE department. App features: 1.Experiments can be downloaded as pdf after selecting the semester and subject. 2.Viva questions: The possible viva questions are displayed in a separate page in the app which is prescribed by  the corresponding staff.Google search engine is integrated with each question(i.e.just click on the question to start the web search. 3.The best weblinks you find useful can be suggested to upcoming users also(similar to the bookmark feature/as upvote feature in quora) 4.A comment plugin is included in the question page so that you can start discussing the answers if necessary.Staffs can dire...

After 50 days of vacation ,ACCETIANS are back in action.New beginning brings with it a lot of energy and hope! Let this semester be a successful journey to all the students ! Principal change :  Prof.Dr.Rajkumar (mechanical department) has taken charge as tye principal of our college after Prof.A.Mala. Lateral entry counselling : ACCET has usually been the center for lateral entry counselling.A few students have enrolled themselves as volunteers to aid the counselling works.Stalls have been installed for refreshment purposes for the students who come to our college to attend counselling.
