SERIES TEST       This week began with a hurricane for students due to the 'Series test'. Since it has been over a month after re-entering the college for fresh seniors, seniors, super seniors, all attended their first cumulative based assessment test called the series test of the year from Monday to Wednesday. As for the freshers, they are yet to face their very first test of their professional education soon. Hoping for the best in the upcoming week for the after effects of the hurricane the students have faced. RUBIX WITH FRESHERS Freshers' Association made this Tuesday (16. 08. 2016) a stunning day for first years with a RUBIX cube. The event added its glow with final year student Girish -Mechanical who solved the cube in one hand(48s), the association proved their worth with a hands on cube and pdf. PLACEMENT DRIVE  The Most awaited and the most challenging dream for the members with the goal of placements has come to life. Yes! It is the "ZOHO corp." who came for their placement drive  last week. Around 300 students made their attempt to the target. Totally five rounds were conducted. The first round was c aptitude and general aptitude. 46 students kicked off this round. The Second round was programing, in which nine passed on to the next round, which was Advanced programing. Following them came technical HR and the general HR. Breaking the ice finally, 6 students got placed in zoho with a package of 6.4 lakh per annum. Following ZOHO, came "GO FRUGAL", which also made its impact of placement drive here yesterday(17/08/2016). Two rounds were over until yesterday and the final result is expected to be announced by evening. Product development workshop  Mr.Vijay krishna (2013 eee passout)  is about to visit our campus along with two other zoho employees to take a live workshop on 6 th and 7 th of august.The session has already gained up hype among second and third years who are interested in software sector.MCA students have also enrolled themselves for the workshop. The basic requirement  for attending the workshop is a laptop with internet  connection.  EEE and ECE association  Grand Fests of the odd semester are Symposiums of the various Departments . To support and share the works behind that, the final year Organising members of ECE and EEE department selected the Association members from the third year students.
