DEFTERA 2k16 Wednesday, 26th of October, was a day of bliss and enjoyment for the Computer Engineers. The intra sympo, DEFTERA 2k16, was a grand success, with the department beaming actively with the techies. The event,  which was organised in a few days after the International Conference, came out with flying colors by the coordinated effort of the Faculty and students. The second and third years actively participated in all the events while the final years organised all the events perfectly and in order. While Codelenza, Cut the Gordian knot, Refratu and Google it blew up our brains, the Fun events eased our minds by the new fun filled set of events. Finally,  the fun filled day ended by honouring the prize winners. PLACEMENT FEVER Breaking the ice, finally, S.Surya Prakash and M. S. Venkatasalapathi, got their intern in the SAINT GOBIN. Totally three members from Third year attended the second round which was held at Thiyagaraja Engineering College, Madurai. They first came across the Group tasking which focused on their problem solving skills and the final round was technical HR. Kudos to them!!! THIRAN FINALE Finally,  the grand day is here!!! After so many days of hard work and sleepless nights here we have come to the Judgement day. PLACEMENT FEVER Finally a storm rests in peace! Yes!! The result for TITAN has been announced at last. G.Dhivya from EEE bagged her place in the company. In parallel to that, 11students(8 from final year and 3 from third year)cracked the first round of saint gobin intern and stepped forward for their next round which is expected to be held soon. SEMESTER TIMETABLE: Every semester goes through rough lectures, teasing friends, bunking classes, outings, boring series tests and last but not the least it ends with a semester examination more like a deadline. Our college plotted our dead line and it zooms from 22.11.2016 to 7.12.2016. Deadline posters aka timetable were displayed on the  noticeboard of each department. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS The Department of Computer Science and Engineering proudly present a two day International Conference on Computation Communication and Innovation. The TEQIP-II sponsered event was held on 5th and 6th of October, 2016. Many delegates from Malaysia and Singapore came all the way to our College and shared their knowledge treasure with the students. Many PhD and PG pursuers presented their papers in front of the delegates who judged it and also gave a piece of their mind to the participants. A three day (3.10.2016 - 5.10.2016) workshop on Electrical Networks and Filter Design sponsored by TEQIP II took place on the virtual class room, EEE department. With a bloom of inauguration,the course session walked gloriously from 9.45am till 5.15pm.
