FLASH  As the name insists, the day will come to us in no time. Have a look at that marvelous poster (or should I say DC poster?) designed by our Students Welfare Association. What is FLASH? – “FestivaL of ACCET Students Harmony, the one and only festival in our college life. FLASH hits the ground on 4th and 5th April'17, by sunset and of course, on our handball ground. Our coordinators are measuring the ground for stage and in the meantime, let’s have quite a look on the contests and preparations for the event. FDP The AICTE-QIP of our College sponsored a one week Faculty Development Program on Soft computing techniques and its emerging applications. This program, organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Virtual Classroom, embarked on 20.03.2017 and will wrap on 26.03.2017. J. Preethi, HOD, Computer Applications, Anna University Regional Campus, Coimbatore will be the Chief guest throughout the program. Our Principal, Dr. A. Elango patroned the program. SPORTS SAGA The thrill of the even semester, Sports day, made a Grand Slam in Tuesday(14/07/2017) on the Hockey grounds. The day Kick-started with a massive March past at 7:00 am followed by men and women athletic final rounds. The morning was made extra special by the distribution of prizes for some events. Winding up then, celebration restarted by 4 pm with rain. Even rain couldn't quenchch the sports spirit blooming in the grounds. After the mild rain brought a cool climate, the events started yet again. The day came to a grand close with the cry, "Once a champion, always a champion" as the Vion Mirackers, the Final years, bagged the overall championship yet again. ACCET'S PRIDE SOUNDS AT VIGYAN BHAVAN The redcarpet welcome call from the Indian Government to  participate in the National Convention of Vittiya Saksharata Abhiyan held on 8th March, 2017 (Wednesday) at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi to our ACCET third year students P. Pradeep(EEE), P. Kiruthika(EEE), A. Bhuvaneshwaran (MECH) made Oru chin raise up high. They were called to get the Tablet PC configured by IIT-Bombay as a prize. This was distributed to all the 400 volunteers all around India by Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister for Electronics & Information Technology and Law & Justice and Shri Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Minister of Human Resource Development.
