RUTHRAM:    It was a pleasant week with marvellous programs. One such most awaited event RUTHRAM 2k18 flashed this week. It all started with rainfall on evening of march 15. Then our traditional tamilthai valthu followed by vallal valthu, lamp enlightment, and speech by our beloved principal A.Elango, prof. Sivanesan, and prof. Pannerselvam. Then a motivational speech by our chiefguest M.Stalin Aarokyaraj(head of St.Micheal educational team) and A.Hayasind Suganthi (principal of Sri Rajarajan college of engineering and technology). Muthamil Mandram: VIDIYAL-2K18 on (13/03/2018); came with howling success .The program was inaugurated with an elegant speech of our principal ER.C.ELANGO, followed by valuable speech  of our chief guest DR.SANKAR RAM( pattimandra petchalar) and DR.MEENAKSHI SUNDARAM(Professor -alumni) , prof.Ramdas (The staff in charge faculty)which lighted up Dewan Bagadur Murugappa hall a spirit of Tamil . Shackles2018: The Mechanical symposium was held in a grand manner for 3 days (March 6,7 and 8). The occasion was honored by Shiri.T.Kartheek, Deputy Manager and Shiri.K. Madhan Kumar, Assistant Manager, EID Parry (India) ltd., Nutraceuticals Division and our beloved Principal Dr.A.Elango. The sympo had many events including CAD modelling, Aero modelling, Casting, Welding, Assembly and Dismantling, Paper Presentation etc. The Workshop on Mind Control Robotics for the next two successive days conducted by Himesh Muralidharan, IIT Bombay. Sports Day: SKYLARKS'18  The 64 th annual sports day(28.02.2018)was held in an elegant manner. Er.C.Elango ,RF consultant, coimbatore, (also the alumini of 1993 batch), is honoured as the chief guest. The meet  included the college sportsmen  Dr.A.Elango( the Principal of ACGCET), Dr.L.Ganesan (the Vice Principal) and Dr.M.Adhimoolam ( Director of Physical Education). FIRST years started the day by stamping the Marchfast and following the dawn with lighting the Olympic torch by final year sport captains. The Athletic track is fired with all the four UG and Two PG students representing the year's pride.
