THIRAN DEMO DAY: Our college is gifted with so many previledges and Thiran is one of those. Every year, our Alumni make time in their busy schedule not just to take a peek at our projects but also guide us through it. This year there were around 100 projects in total from all the departments and 6 panels of judges. It was held on 26th January. The students made use of this stage to showcase their talents and innovative ideas. OGC SELECTION: The Thiran demo day infuriated the interest of First years to be a part of Thiran. So the next day(27.01.2019), they came over asking many doubts about how Thiran functions during the motivational talk given by our Alumni and professors. FRESHER'S CLUB: Resume speaks a lot about who you are. It is what makes the first impression of someone to the interviewer. And it definitely is a big deal to make it nothing less than just perfect. Fresher's club conducted a session regarding how to make an impressive resume. The first year students showed great interest and learnt a lot of new stuffs. The session was handled by Mothil Bharathi from final year Mechanical department on 22.01.2019 in Gallery hall. ARAM SEIVOM: Our alumini always acts as  backbone of our college. They help us in all possible ways by extending their hands in developing the infrastructure of college and hostels, engaging us in new activities and all. Pongal function: 'Muthamil mandram' ,the most enthusiastic club of our college always excited us with its stand-alone programs. This week they celebrated harvest festival of Tamil Nadu, 'Pongal'. Wednesday morning was filled with colors, girls were busy participating  Rangoli competition followed by chaos of making pongal, traditionally offering it to Sun god and distributing them to students and staffs. And then started the fun, different games were conducted for everyone. Girls ran here and there one after another playing kho-kho while boys hit and hide one behind other playing Taj ball. Mid noon was engaged with games for staffs and our traditional game 'Uriyadithal' was filled with splendid performance of our Principal, staffs and students. Placement news: VEMBU Technology located in Chennai, pay a visit to our college on  28th December.Our department of placement and training gladly received the campus for recruitment .Many students had arrived for placement and    undergone three rounds such as online test,programming and HR round.Last but not least , final year students of S.Durkesh CSE and E.Aparna ECE got the recruitment .
