THE ACCET TIMES REPUBLIC DAY ACGCET on Sunday celebrated our country's 71st republic day celebration with the great fervour. In front of the admin block our NCC cadets performed their parade for republic day. The national flag was hoisted by our vice principal DR.Malayalamurthi. Our NCC cadets  showcased  their patriot by demonstrating  the flag area to our vice principal. IOT - DEMO DAY Students always have innovative ideas ,which are useful for the society. The main drawback is platform to execute them. But in our college there are so many platforms that help students to turn their ideas into action. One of them is the Next Gen lab sponsored by our alumni  that helps the students to develop their knowledge in the field of IOT,AI and Robotics. Our students got trained on IOT and AI in the last semester . ACCET TIMES ROTARACT CLUB This 2020's first club event in ACGCET was conducted by our rotaract club on 23.01.2020 in gallery hall at 4.45 p.m. The event named as "VOICE YOUR THOUGHT"  was neither technical nor fun event but provided good chance  for the students to speak out and let them learn how to express their views about a particular event or topic  bravely without any hesitation.  The session seemed to be very active. Students from 1st, 2nd and 3rd year participated in the event. ACCET TIMES THE HARVEST FESTIVAL        The harvest festival which is known in tamilnadu as  'Thai pongal' and in other parts of India as Makarasankaranti  is celebrated in  each year in all parts of india on the month of january. The farmers who work hardly all over the year praise the lord suryabhagavan through this festival as sunlight is important for crop's growth. The harvest festival in tamil nadu is celebrated for 3 days.  ACCET PONGAL:            pongal  festival was celebrated in a grand manner in our college on 10.01.2020 near open auditorium. The function was held by our ACGCET tamil club 'muthamizh mandram'. The celebration started at 8.00AM  and ended at  1.00PM.
