ACCET TIMES SHOPUP PLACEMENT Shopup, a leading social commerce platform headquartered in Singapore came for a campus drive to our college. The first two rounds held on 8th March 2020 in our college. Totally 250 students appeared for the first round of selection and 18 got selected. In which 8 students cleared the 2nd round. The first two rounds is about aptitude and programming. The third and final rounds were held at Madurai on 12th March. In this round programming and aptitude skills were tested. Our student N. THE ACCET TIMES AWARENESS PROGRAM As the year 2019 ends with a serious outbreak of  “Corona”, the virus which is now in 2020 becoming a huge threat to the people all over the world. COVID19 was initially detected in the city of “Wuhan”, Beijing in China. The  major cause for the outbreak of Corona is the bat's meat. A very well organized campaign for creating awareness about this COVID19 was conducted in our college on 10, 11 & 12 of March in Murugappa hall which headed by our principal Dr.R. Shanmugalakshmi and vice principal Dr.R.Malayamoorthi and the session was handled by Dr.Sameer and Dr.Keerthika sensing that “prevention is better than cure”, and the vote of thanks was given by  Dr.K.Baskaran, HOD of EEE Department. As the vaccine for this virus was not still discovered. It will take 1.5 to 2 years to develop a vaccine for the virus-said by the government. THE ACCET TIMES ECE SYMPOSIUM In this month of technical fests, Electronics and Communication Department  has conducted the National level technical intra symposium  on 28th of February. This symposium is special for the department of ECE since this was their 25th national level technical symposium  and also Golden jubilee for their department. Er.A.Pandian, Divisional Engineer, BSNL, Karaikudi, was the Chief Guest. Our Vice Principal Dr.R.Malayalamurthi M.E.,Ph.D presided over the function. All teaching, non-teaching staffs and students of ECE department attended the function.  Students actively participated in Project, and Paper presentation.
