ACCET TIMES NSS AWARD: Happy to inform you all that our college NSS unit and our professor K.T.LOGANATHAN (NSS PO) have been selected for conferring “National level NSS Awards” for the year 2018-2019. Congratulations from TEAM ACCET NEWS on behalf of all students for this achievement. LEO Club of ACGCET: The LEO club of our college conducted an online session named Employment Talk Phase-I. The students of our college presented their juniors a wonderful session about the Employment Opportunities after completing their College. Placement: WABCO online placement was held recently. Wabco is a Mechanical company. Our college final year students from Mechanical, ECE and CSE actively participated. 25 students were selected to attend placement. There were 5 rounds which includes group discussion, general assessment (aptitude), technical interview, personality assessment and finally HR interview. A. First time achievement as NSS PO & NSS unit from a Government Engg. College. The Honorable President of India has consented to confer the awards virtually. Government of India Act-1935: The Government of India Act was passed by the British Parliament in August 1935. It was divided into two separate acts namely, the Government of India Act 1935 and the Government of Burma Act 1935. The most important aspect of the Act was the grant of a large measure of autonomy to the provinces of British India and the provision for the establishment of a “Federation of India”. This Act divided the power between the centre and the Provinces. There were three lists which gave the subjects under each government. They were Federal list, Provincial list and the Concurrent list. Article 45 of the Indian Constitution: Article 45 of Indian Constitution required the State to make provision within ten years for free and compulsory education for all children until they complete the age of 14 years.
