Due to the increase of corona virus the Government of Tamilnadu planned to close the colleges. so, our college decided to send off our students to their houses on 23 rd march. Be Aware of corona and stay healthy. Kho-kho Tournament: The zonal level kho-kho tournament 2021 was conducted on 19/3/2021 in chendhuran college of engineering and technology .players from six colleges had participated in kho-kho match in which Thiyagarajar college of engineering and technology , Madurai   grabbed the first place followed by chendhuran college of engineering and technology ,pudukottai in second place then our college in third place . And our heart felt congratulations to all kho-kho players.Our college kabaddi and volley ball team participated in zonal. They exposed their great effort .     ECE SYMPOSIUM Our college ECE department conducted 26 th Intra-department Technical symposium named “Stalwartz” on 13 th March 2021 in sangamam hall. The function was presided by Dr.K.Manonmani, Principal and Felicitated by Dr.R.Malayalamurthi, vice principal and Dr.A.Sivanantha Raja, HOD of ECE department. The symposium had various events like treasure hunt, PPT presentation, project explanation, technical and fun events and culturals. All the students of ECE department participated actively and enjoyed the occasion of the technical symposium function. CSE SYMPOSIUM The department of CSE conducted their intra year symposium "DEFTERA2021" on 06/03/2021.   CSE department HOD professor K.CHANDRA PRABHA was the Chief guest .The symposium had various events. It included some offline events like codelenza, Bug-gi-cide,Geeks( technical quiz), kwiz conquers( General quiz).All the CSE students have participated actively. It all ended with validictory event where all the winners were awarded.   WOMEN’S DAY International women's day was celebrated on March 8 , 2021 in our college and it was organized by the women empowerment cell at Murugappa hall.   PLACEMENT TALKS              A motivational and refreshing speech about the placement activities in our college and the ways to be get selected in the placement was given by our placement officer Dr.K.Baskaran sir HOD of EEE department followed by our placement coordinator Dr.Suganthi Ma'am to the 3 rd year students on the successive days of last week (22 nd of February for MECHANICAL, 23 rd of February for EEE, 24 th of February for ECE and CSE) and finally on 1 st of March for CIVIL department.
