MUTHAMIZH MANDRAM YAAVANA VAARAM The Muthamizh Mandram of our college had conducted ‘yaavana vaaram’ from 21/03/2022 to 25/03/2022. It included many amazing events to showcase everyone’s talents like poetry, essay writing, singing, drawing, drama and many more, which were conducted every evening this week. Students from all the departments eagerly involved themselves and actively participated in all the events. NSS CAMP The NSS organization of our college, conducted a camp for the NSS students. The camp lasted for seven days from 15th March to 21st March,2021. At the request of the villagers, the camp was organized in the village of Ariyakudi. The students did social service in the temples and schools of the village. The students were greatly motivated to do social service on this camp. ACCET NEWS   I IC WEBINAR The Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) of our college feels proud to host an online seminar on “ How to start a start up” on March 16th 2021. The meeting lasted for one hour, from 5pm to 6pm in Google Meet. Our college feels gratified to have Mr. Mohammed Raafi, an alumnus, as the resource person of this program. The webinar motivated the young minds of the students to become entrepreneurs in the future. INCUBATION VISIT The members of IIC of our college went to the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CFIE) of Pandiyan Saraswati Yadav Engineering College, Arasanoor on 17 th March. The students of PSY college displayed their projects and explained the concepts behind each project and the way they had done them. GOLDEN JUBILEE Our college feels proud, to celebrate the golden Jubilee with the amazing alumni of 1971 batch, who decorated the program by their presence on March 7th and 8th. The event was hosted by our college at Sangamam hall. The program began with much enthusiasm. Students from second and final years gave dance performances and the music club brought up their beautiful melody in this program. The alumni got so excited, to recollect the memories of their college days at the golden jubilee celebration. WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION International Women’s Day is a worldwide event that celebrates women’s achievements in various fields. The theme for IWD2022 given by the UN was “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”. Women’s day celebration at our college was spectacularly organized by the women empowerment cell on March 8. N AAN MUTHALVAN A scheme called ‘Naan Muthalvan’ was introduced by our honorable chief minister on March 1. This program was opened  with the participation of colleges and schools in large number all over Tamilnadu through virtual mode. The program was telecasted for the second, third and the final years students in our college in all departments. Our college students were greatly motivated by the inspirational program to succeed in their future. CURRENT AFFAIRS Out-of-court Settlement of the Future Groups & Amazon This Thursday, the Future Groups and the Amazon agreed to start a discussion to find an out- of-court solution for the 18-month-old dispute over the Indian company plans to settle its assets to the Reliance Retail. The Supreme Court said that it will hear the matter again on 15th of march and told the three parties Amazon, NV Investment Holdings LLC, Future Retail Ltd (FRL) and its promoter the Future Coupons Pvt Ltd (FCPL) to find ways to trash out a settlement....
