  THIRAN DEMO DAY The most awaited demo day of the annual project competition conducted by THIRAN was held on 23 rd of April 2022. The event was graced by the presence of our beloved alumni, Mr. Senthil Anandha Prakash, Mr. Vijaya Krishna, Mr. Shanmugaraj, Mr. Guru Prasath, Mrs. Jeeva Bharathi, Mr. Rathnavel, Mr. Renugopal, Mr. Abirama Ramaswamy, Mr. Senthil Kumar, Mrs. Hyacinth Suganthi, Mr. Ravi Kumar, Mrs. Ramya and our very own HODs from various departments. About 55 projects were presented before the panel of judges. Among them 18 were from EEE, 13 from ECE, 7 from Mechanical, 8 from Civil and 9 from CSE. Everyone participated actively and made the event a grand success. FRESHER’S INSTALLATION 2K21-22 The fresher’s installation program was held on 25 th of April. ACCET NEWS Civil Symposium 2022 The splendid symphosium of civil department took place in our college in Sangamam hall with perfect combo of Fun and Technical events on 8th of this month. The event was enlightened by the presence of the Head of the department Dr.C.Sivanesan and Civil Association President. The Secretary and Joint Secretary lead the event in a humongous manner. Technical events like Theodolite survey and Cad presentation were conducted along with a bunch of fun activities like quiz, treasure hunt etc. The Gathering was fed deliciously. One winner from each year was chosen for the conducted events and awarded with books and certificates. VIDIYAL’22 The most awaited Muthamizh Mandram valedictory function “Vidiyal’22” took place on 31 st March in Murugappa hall. The event was graced with the presence of our beloved principal Dr. P.K. Palani and honorable chief guest Dr. Ganga Selvakumar. The cultural programs consisted of dance, drama, therukoothu, silambattam and oyilattam. Our muthamizh mandram is known for its debate. This year it was on the topic of ‘Indraiya ilainyargalin valarchiku uthavuvathu... Kudumba soozhalaa…? samooga soozhalaa…?’. The debate was judged by our guest judge Mr.Nagappan . Then prizes were distributed to the winners of various events. The entire program was a huge success with the active and eager participation of students and coordinators.
