  Silver Jubilee Celebration – EMIZH One of the best moments in life is the day when we get to see our friends together at college. Such a beautiful moment was experienced by the '93 to '97 batch students. The Silver Jubilee Celebration was hosted for 2 days, 23rd and 24th of July,2022, at Murugappa Hall and NTV hall respectively. The chief guest of this program was Mr. Kumar Vembu, CEO of Gofrugal Technologies. The ENH boys’ hostel was renovated for 38 lakhs, by this alumni batch.     SOFTSKILL INAUGURATION  SOFT SKILL is mandatory to all third-year students. Training for the same is provided by the alumni association of our college. The inauguration program for the SOFT SKILL TRAINING was organised and held on 20 th July 2022 in Murugappa hall. The program was presided by our beloved vice principal Dr. K. Baskaran and Mr. S. R. Sabapathy, the CEO and president of Qmax Pvt.Ltd who is also our alumni. Advocate Shantipriya, a holistic life coach, was the guest speaker. SEMESTER EXAMS AND COLLEGE REOPEN  Our college conducted the even semester exams for 1st, 2nd ,3rd year students. The semester began on 27th of June, 2022 and ended on 15th of July,2022. The exams were held on different dates within those intervals. The students were tested on their knowledge of their subjects. EEE MINI PROJECT Students from 1 st year EEE attended the symposium of Francis Xavier Engineering college – Tirunelveli on 26 th May,2022. Having participated in most of the events, their participation in mini project competition gave them a great opportunity to show their talents which had been unbeatably capable of acquiring the 1 st position among several contestants, speaking about their victory, the project that led to it was based on robotics. They were awarded with trophies and cash prizes. Although being freshers to the course, their interest and enthusiasm surprised the experienced seniors.   ACCET NEWS  MUTHAMIZH MANDRAM MAGAZINE RELEASE  The Muthamizh Mandram Association of our college released their yearly magazine “SANGAMAM” on 27th May, 2022 at Murugappa Hall. In the presence of our beloved principal, the magazine was released with much excitement. The magazine consists of the creative work of students of all years.   EEE SYMPOSIUM The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering conducted ELECTERA'22, an intra-department technical symposium on 9th May, 2022. The event was organized at Murugappa Hall, with the honorable Chief Guest, Mr. S. Siddhartha Shankar (Sub – divisional Manager, SZBC, BSNL), an alumnus of our college and our beloved principal, Dr. P. K. Palani. Various events such as Paper Presentation, Project Contest, Circuitrix, Connexion, Technical Quiz,  decorated the symposium. The prizes were distributed to the winners at the valedictory function. The students were motivated to upgrade themselves through this technical symposium. Sivagangai District Cricket Association League The Sivagangai district cricket association league tournament was conducted in our college on 30th April, 2022. The match was between Sunlight CC and ACGCET of 45 overs. Sunlight CC won the toss and began the match by batting. Sunlight CC struggled badly at the bowling of ACGCET, with a score of only 28 for 10.1 overs. ACGCET batted next and reached the score within four overs. The amazing performance of the bowlers caused our college to have great success.   THIRAN DEMO DAY The most awaited demo day of the annual project competition conducted by THIRAN was held on 23 rd of April 2022. The event was graced by the presence of our beloved alumni, Mr. Senthil Anandha Prakash, Mr. Vijaya Krishna, Mr. Shanmugaraj, Mr. Guru Prasath, Mrs. Jeeva Bharathi, Mr. Rathnavel, Mr. Renugopal, Mr. Abirama Ramaswamy, Mr. Senthil Kumar, Mrs. Hyacinth Suganthi, Mr. Ravi Kumar, Mrs. Ramya and our very own HODs from various departments. About 55 projects were presented before the panel of judges. Among them 18 were from EEE, 13 from ECE, 7 from Mechanical, 8 from Civil and 9 from CSE.
