  TREE PLANTING PROGRAM  A teacher is a compass that activates the magnets of curiosity, knowledge, and wisdom in the pupils. On the occasion of teacher’s day on 5/09/2022, the final year students of ECE department organized a tree planting program. Our principal Dr. PK. Palani sir, the head of ECE department Dr. A.   INSTITUTION’S INNOVATION COUNCIL The Institution’s Innovation Council of our college organized an event named Angel Investment and VC funding for early stage entrepreneurs. The session was handled by our alumnus, Mr. Praveen Kumar Mohan, Head of payments. The session was organized on 29 th   August, 2022 at Murugappa Hall. Students were explained about various business tactics an funds available for early stage entrepreneurs. Students found this session to be an intriguing and thought provoking one. After the session, we had the valedictory function of  IIC 4.0. The students from all departments attended the session and made it a   successful one.   INSTITUTION’S INNOVATION COUNCIL The Institution’s Innovation Council of our college organized a meeting on “How to plan for start-up, legal and ethical steps” for the third-year mechanical students. The session was handled by our proud alumnus J. Kishore Kumar, founder of Karai Visual Photography, on 22nd August,2022.   INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION It makes our hearts beat with pride to see the colors of Independence Day spreading happiness and great joy all around. The 75th independence day was celebrated at our college on August 15th, 2022. The tricolor flag was unfurled by our beloved principal. The NCC cadets performed various signs including formation, flag drill and piloting.  INDUSTRY AWARENESS ORIENTATION PROGRAM The “Industry Awareness Orientation Program” was conducted for the students of 2 nd and 3 rd year Mechanical and Electrical departments on 12 th   August, 2022 at Murugappa Hall. By collaboration of the college placement cell and the alumni, the program was conducted. The job opportunities present in the industry field for engineering graduates were expounded clearly.
