ARRIVAL OF FIRST YEARS AND INDUCTION PROGRAM The young blossoms of our ACGCET arrived on 14 th  Sept. And of course, they are our junior first years, who have stepped into the college with lots of hope and curiosity. On their first day, they completed the admission process in the morning. The induction program for them started in the afternoon with all the department introduction by the Head Of The Departments. They also attended the website launch program. The best outgoing students were also announced on the same day. From the 2021 batch, Rakshana MECH and Sasimadhavan ECE were selected as the winner and runner respectively. From the 2022  batch, Andalabi CSE, Anuarchana ECE and Manoj MECH, Keshvanth MECH were selected as the winners and runners respectively.   EDC WORKSHOP On the August of 28, 2023, the Entrepreneur Development Cell of our college organized two workshops on Process Design and Development and Business Model Canvas conducted at the Virtual Hall of CSE Department. The profound knowledge on these topics were shared by Dr. S Regina M.E.,PhD., Associate professor and Mr. K Sankaralingam B.E.,MBA., Founder and CEO of Greens Cart. Third year and Final year students of various department actively takes part in the workshop. The workshop gives a detailed insights on Modelling and initiating a Business and various scholarships awarded by the Government.   HEXAWARE DRIVE The IT Company ‘Hexaware’ conducted drive for EEE, ECE and CSE students of our college. It has four rounds for selection that is online aptitude test plus domain test, communication test, technical interview and HR interview. EDUNET ORIENTATION PROGRAM On 28th August, Electronics and Communication department along with Computer Science department attended the Edunet Orientation Program for online courses. All students of CSE & ECE were requested to be present at the Sangamam Hall for the registration & orientation of two courses through EDUNET, which further supports placement opportunities too. These courses are free online courses. The Courses were: 1) AI integrated cloud computing 2) Cloud computing with software development NLP PROGRAM The 3rd year students of our college attended a program called the Neuro- Linguistic Programming for three weeks on weekends from August 18,2023 to September 2,2023. This program consisted six engaging sessions and is related to communication and personality development. Our Alumni of 1998 batch sponsored for this program.
