ARRIVAL OF FIRST YEARS AND INDUCTION PROGRAM

The young blossoms of our ACGCET arrived on 14th Sept. And of course, they are our junior first years, who have stepped into the college with lots of hope and curiosity. On their first day, they completed the admission process in the morning. The induction program for them started in the afternoon with all the department introduction by the Head Of The Departments. They also attended the website launch program. The best outgoing students were also announced on the same day. From the 2021 batch, Rakshana MECH and Sasimadhavan ECE were selected as the winner and runner respectively. From the 2022  batch, Andalabi CSE, Anuarchana ECE and Manoj MECH, Keshvanth MECH were selected as the winners and runners respectively.

The next day, on 15th September, they had their campus tour which was guided by our college Freshers’ Association members. After the campus tour, there was an introduction session by our college NCC and NSS organization.“Your degree is not just about learning; it goes along with virtues/character. Both of them will make you sought after. Endeavor to build yourself with them. Welcome, and good luck.”

MUTHAMIZH MANDRAM COMPETITION

On the occasion of the ‘Vaikam’ struggle, to enhance it on 4th Sept Muthamizh Mandram conducted many competitions for all the students. The competitions were speech, essay, and quiz-like. In the quiz, there were two persons for a team and the questions were based on Vaikam's struggle. Many students took active participation and the events went successfully.

MUTHAMIZH MANDRAM COORDINATORS SELECTION

Coordinator selection was conducted for third-year students on 05.09.2023 on behalf of Muthamil mandram of our college. Students from all departments participated and excelled in this. The selection was conducted in rounds like written tests, speaking skills, and interviews. The results of this selection will be declared soon.

LAUNCH OF ACCET OFFICIAL WEBSITE

The CSE department of our college has taken the initiative to launch a new website for our college. This website contains all the necessary information along with news and events. The website link is accet.ac.in, this has been successfully done only with the help of department faculties and students who have taken take part in this. Appreciations for the active members who worked hard for this.

ORIENTATION SESSION

On 15th Sept, an orientation program was organized for all the students of the core who wish to attend the drive of Zoho at 2 p.m. in Sangamam Hall. The necessity of this program is to explain the role of Quality Analyst and how to prepare for it.

I-STEM: LINKING RESEARCHERS AND RESOURCES

On 15th Sept, a seminar on “I-STEM: Linking Researchers and Resources” was held at 11 a.m. in Sangamam Hall. This was organized by the college in association with I-STEM, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. The speaker was Mr. S. Senthimurugan, Technology Manager of I-STEM. It was open to all faculty members, research supervisors, full-time and part-time research scholars, M.E. students of I and II years, and B.E. students who aspire to take up higher studies.

TECH BYTES

Basically, IoB is a process where user data is analyzed in terms of behavioral psychology. The result of the analysis informs new approaches to designing a new service or product and how to market the end product in companies. So, the important point is collecting each digital activity data of the user and finally using this information to influence behavior. As companies are for customers and customers are the point to whom the company focuses and plans its mission and vision. So, IoB can become a powerful new marketing and sales tool for businesses and organizations all around in upcoming times. It helps in gaining a deep understanding of the customers which adds growth to the business. Moreover, implementing emerging technologies innovations such as machine learning algorithms, IoB can capture, analyze, understand, and respond accordingly to all behavior in a way that allows tracking and interpreting the behavior of people.
