SEMESTER EXAMS

The third and final-year students at our college have finished their semester, and they've just completed a month-long set of exams. These students worked hard and prepared well for their exams.  As they look forward to the results, these students can be proud of the effort they put into their studies, setting the stage for future academic achievements. The exams for Mechanical and EEE had postponed for a week since some of the students of those department had been participating in the SMART INDIA HACKATHON. The semester exams ended on January 12 and soon after couple of days the classes for the semester has been started.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP

Our NSS team organized a blood donation camp in Murugappa Hall on November 21, 2023, in collaboration with NCC, YRC, LEO, and XPREZ of ACGCET. We extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all of the blood donors who sacrificed their time, energy, and blood today to benefit others. An incredible 115 blood donations were registered, and we congratulate everyone for their altruistic acts.

ROTARACT INSTALLATION

On 8th Nov, Rotaract Club of our college has conducted its 16th Installation Program from 5 P.M. in Sangamam Hall. Our honourable Principle, Dr. K. Baskaran Sir was invited as the Chief Guest and Rtn. PAG. S. Shanmuga Natraj, Rtn. PAG. M. Shanmugam, Prof. V. Pradeep Sir honoured the program. President of Rotary Club of Karaikudi, Rtn. V. Nagarajan, Secretary of RC of Karaikudi, Rtn. P. Sureshkumar and Chairman, Rtn. S. Krishnan felicitated the program. In this program Rotaract coordinators J. Anuraj Kishore and S. Thevi Srinidhi were collared as the President and Secretary for the year 2023-2024. Best wishes to continue the services from accet team.


FRESHERS INAUGRATION

On November 7, 2023, the ACGCET Freshers Association was inaugurated in our college’s sangamam hall. Our principal, Dr. K.Bhaskaran, sir, was the event’s chief guest. His expertise and knowledge inspired the students. The music club’s musical performances thrilled the students. The Festivista online event prizes were given out.

LEO INAUGRATION

The Leo Club of our college conducted it’s 27th inauguration at Sangamam Hall on November 9th, 2023, attended by eager first-year students. Our College Principal Dr. K. Bhasakaran sir graced the occasion as the chief guest with the presence of Professor V. Jawahar sir, the Leo Club incharge. The new office bearers for 2023-2024 were introduced by Ln. Er. A Arivalagan sir in the presence of Lion members from Lions Club of Karaikudi cosmos. Final year student from Civil department Leo P. Gokulavasan took charge as the new president, promising a year of leadership and service.


CIVIL SYMPOSIUM

 “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.”

The department of Civil Engineering conducted an intra level symposium, CESAR’23 which was conducted on the 24th of November,2023. The programme was presided by our honourable principal, Dr.K. Baskaran and felicitated by the respected Head of Department of ECE, Dr.A. Sivanantha Raja. The students have taken part in lot of events and have won prizes. It was truly a day to remember!!

 CSE SYMPOSIUM

The deftera, an intra-college symposium of the computer science department, was held on November 24th, 2023.Our principal, K. Bhaskaran sir, was the prominent guest at this event.The symposium focuses on coding, design, and quiz competition.This seminar was avidly attended by students.It was a very successful event, and students were able to learn a lot about technical topics and practical applications.

MECHANICAL SYMPOSIUM

 On 22.11.23, the mechanical department of our college conducted their intra college symposium, fuels, with our principal Dr. K. Bhaskaran as their chief guest. Technical events like paper presentation, quiz and non technical events like water rocket, assemble and dismantle were conducted to keep the students engaged and entertained. After completing all the events, the winners and runners were awarded by our Principal.

 ECE SYMPOSIUM

The ECE department of our college organized two day intra-level  symposium “FESTRONICS” The first day was inaugurated with the glorious presence of our Chief Guest, Former Director of Kerala State Science and Technology Museum and Planetarium, Er. G Arul Jerald Prakash Sir, the Head of the Department Dr. A. Sivanantha Raja Sir, our beloved Principal Dr. K. Baskaran Sir, teaching and non-teaching staffs. On 28th Nov, Er. Arun Sir gave an extraordinary Ted Talk on our day-to-day Electronics application along with all technical events . On 29th fun events were conducted. There were eight technical events including paper presentation and project expo. Six teams were selected on the basis of their overall performance in all the events and a quiz competition had been conducted for these six teams. The seniors coordinated the event well and good. The day went well with a good feast.
