SAINT GOBAIN campus drive :
Saint Gobain is a leading glass manufacturing company in the world. It offers summer internship program for 3rd year students. The program includes four days training in industry and assignment of individual projects for the students in their plant itself. The internship will be in Sriperumpudhur plant. The duration is 45 days. Based on the performance in the project and review scores and the performance in the technical interview held at the end of the internship canditates will be shortlisted for the final interview with M.D of the company.
THIRAN PRIZE DISTRIBUTION DAY
Atleast few of us may smile , while someone calls us like this . But THIRAN inculcates the hope that we can become professionals , if we put forth effort in making ourselves technically fit . Every year two phases of THIRAN are being conducted for the betterment of students' technical skill set. Also to motivate the participants , prizes will also be given . For the two phases of Thiran 2K15 , judgements have been declared and planned to be announced in the Prize Distribution Day which is about to held on coming 9 th Jan , Saturday, 2016 . Our beloved alumni from various places are coming all their way to see their present juniors and the honorable Head of the Departments will add stone to the crown . Thiran team cordially welcomes you all to take part in the prize distribution day .

KEEP CALM JOIN THE DEBATE!!!
The LEO club of ACCET are having their mega event from today. Five events will be conducted in consecutive weeks. Today they have debate competition. The winners will be awarded with cash prizes. Students are awaiting fun filled weeks ahead!!!
MUTHAMIZH MANDRAM
After a long time, our muthamil mandram organised a funny event named ONDRU SERTTHAL. So many students, loaded with excitement, participated in this event..
The main theme of this event was to find the similarity between the given images.
RAPID FIRE
Rapid fire was the fresher's event for this week which involved the technical skills of solving puzzles,apps etc.. Since the expected crowd was not there it was postponed to next week. In order to encourage the juniors ,freshers office bearers shared their placement experiences with the juniors who attended the event.
OPPORTUNITIES AT MY DOOR STEP
TIC 2K16
Techno innovation contest(TIC) is going to be conducted to enhace the innovative ideas and skills of students. This contest is being funded and organised by TEQIP-2. Students who have an interest to express their reinventions might participate. The participants must present their abstract of ideas in a sheet. The content may be a printed or written one. Dr. C. Umarani, assistant professor in computer science department will arrange and coordinate the selection.The selection will fully be based on the oral presentation of novel reinventions. Ten best ideas will be selected from each departments for their final presentation. The best will be rewarded and funded by TEQIP-2 to pursue their ideas. The last date to submit your idea is on or before 18.1.2016, 5pm to respective coordinators.
FORMAT:
1.Your content must be for two pages and in Times new roman font style,12pt,1.5 spacing,A4 size neatly typed.
2.Duly forwarded by the faculty advisor and the head of the department.
3.Students should mention their identity.
