REPUBLIC DAY PARADE : 

Hello all! I am Sushmitha from 3rd year CSE. It gives me immense pleasure in sharing my life time experience about state Republic Day Parade. I had a great opportunity to do march in front of  our honorable Chief minister and Governer at Chennai on Republic day. We all are familiar with this proverb “Rome was not built in a day” likewise to be a part of this parade I had attended selection in Coimbatore in which 8 students were selected out of 90 students. Then in Mysore it was a 10 days camp held among four states(TamilNadu,Kerala,Karnataka and two union territories Pondicherry and Andaman). In each selection students were shortlisted based on their talent in various aspects like communication skill, general knowledge,technical knowledge,current affairs,NCC commands and cultural. During the days of camp I learned many things like yoga,meditation,sports in addition to that we also had guest lectures.

It made myself physically and mentally fit. To put it in a nutshell it was the most memorable and unforgettable moment  which made me to know who I am. So I kindly request you ,all not to miss any opportunity which can find your ability.




EXODIA 2K16

The fresher party proudly present EXODIA 2k16, a state level science symposium conducted under the Science and Humanities Association, on 4th and 5th of February. Dr. K. Manimekalai, Professor and Head, Dean of Arts, Alagappa University and Prof. A. Mala, our beloved Principal  are the Chiefguests.

NSS CAMP

After a long wait and hard working field works, the final list for NSS camp was released this week. Around 80 girls and 120 boys have been selected . Here after these selected guys alone will go for weekly field works. Short listed final lists will be announced soon. Students are enthusiastically getting ready for the 7 day camp near by Karaikudi which is expected on mid March.

Part of the secret of success in life is to eat what u like....

This short month (February) began with a shocking news from canteen. PRICE HIKE on all the foods and drinks prepared by our canteen cooks. College management made this one rupee raise on all beverages and evening snacks and a five rupee raise on noon meals. As this price raise is affordable, canteen still maintains its regular number.

WATER BRIDGE

 Water bridges are the most interesting and important architectural improvement that our world had succeeded in creating. Everyone may wonder what a water bridge is!!! An interesting structure, it was a bridge through which only boats and ships can travel above the river, lake, channel and other water bodies. They are used to control the waterway traffics. Some important water bridges include the 662 meter long aqueduct carrying the canal latèral à la Loire over the River Loire built in 1896 was the longest aqueduct before Magdeburg water bridge in German took its title. So here we are improving in our architectural world. Say salam to our technical developments!!!
