Eye is the camera of the human body. Our social clubs NSS and YRC together conducted an Eye camp on 16.2.2016. Students attended the camp enthusiastically. India's famous eye care hospital VASAN EYE CARE hosted this eye camp.
SPORTS FESTIVAL IN ACCET
The Greatest Sports Festival of ACCET commences.Interyear Games kicked off from yesterday(17.2.2016). As for the games finished so far ,Third Year & Final Year are the new champions in Ball Badminton(Boys) & Hand ball(Girls) respectively

EXPO ON STAGE
As a part of academics, our pre final years are now busy with their mini projects . As a record, this year 37 mini projects have been submitted by the EEE department students on 16 th February, Tuesday. Its worth to call it a mini project mela! In three laboratories, these projects have been displayed for a whole day and the Faculty members of the department assessed these projects . Out of them, three projects got more attention and have been selected for prizes . Following are those projects:
* E lab
* Crack detector
* Accelerometer controlled robot
*Digital speedometer with angle measurement
Learning provides knowledge but experiments prove it !
ROYAL FIELD ROLLS OUT IN COLLEGE
Royal enfield, the most expected company, came for their placement drive this week. 81 of our students attended the placement and the recuriters filtered the students on basis of three rounds.The first round was the written test which 30 students cleared and the second round was group discussion in which 6 among them got selected for the next round. The final round was personal interview as a result of which two got their placement in Royal Enfield.
The Royal Enfield officials came with 5 of their brand new models which were allowed to be test driven within the campus as a part of their promotional activities .
ROTRACT MELA
Was there any problem in ACCET? Why were the reporters here last Monday??? Nothing to panic. It is the Rotract event, "Reverberant Reporters", where the students performed as a reporter and also a victim for a given situation. And Another interesting part open for all Accetians!!! They have got a chance to make a documentary film. Our Rotaract club has announced the intra college "Documentary Contest". The documentary should be based on social issues in India. Mail your team details with your idea to rotract.2k16@gmail.com. Deadline is on 22/2/2016. Best 3 documentaries will be rewarded with cash prizes for their great work.
FREEDOM 251
Ringing Bells will launch India’s most affordable smartphone called Freedom 251 for a price of Rs 251 today.
The smartphone with a 4-inch WVGA resolution display, features a 1.3 Ghz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB total storage space and a 3.2 megapixel camera on the back. It will have 0.3 megapixel camera on the front and has a 1450 mAh battery.Bookings for the Freedom 251 will start from Thursday 18 February from 6.00 am in the morning and will close on 21 February at 8.00 pm. This is dual-SIM 3G capable phone.
The launch is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for “empowering India to the last person, transforming India’s growth story”, the Noida-based company said. Online registeration can be done in www.freedom251.com.

Every year our college conducts a fund raising event for the disabled with the help of our rotaract club and music club. This year it is going to be held on February 28, (sunday). Tickets are being sold for this mighty cause by our Rotaract and Srishti members. There are two shows, one morning show and an evening show . Morning show is especially for our college students and it costs Rs.100 per head. Evening show is for public and it costs Rs.150 per head. The amount collected will reach the disabled to meet their needs for things like wheel chair, lung transfer operation amount etc.,
