PLACEMENT DRIVE

The atmosphere is filled with excitement and nervousness. The final year students are buzzing around in formals looking excited from head to toe.  The reason behind such an environment is the first placement drive of this academic year by ZOHO. They will be recruiting today(11.08.2016) and tomorrow(12.08.2016). Best wishes to all the students attending the placement drive.

THIRAN FEST

Thiran fever has started with new ideas and enthusiasm. The craze that has been here now is with the ZOHO creator app. People found its potential for making giant leap projects and they learn out with the help of alumni who really extend their hands to share their knowledge.This has been a fever for all students especially from CS department. All the students have been asked to register their projects on or before 17th of August.

ACCET radio:
Even though there are many technologies, the traditional ways always have their own way of aesthetical scene. And it is of no doubt that radio is the top of its list. Our college has a privilege of having our own radio, "The ACCET RADIO". This radio work echoed last year for the first time, with the support of our alumini. Last year it was a tremendous success. This year the first radio show will be taking off next week.

FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

The Department of Physics is conducting a faculty development programme on "RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN MATERIAL SCIENCE" from 8th to 14th of August, 2016. Dr, Rathinam Chandramohan, Principal, Sree Sevugan Annamalai College, Devakottai, is the Chief guest. Our beloved Principal, Dr. S. Rajakumar,presided over the function and Dr. B. V. Bhuvaneswari who is the coordinator welcomed the gathering.

SANGAMAM '91

The new placement cell

The alumni meet got mentioned in THE HINDU daily newspaper .

Alumni of 87-91 batch relived in their heaven and enjoyed the memories of ACCET last week ( Aug 6&7). Inauguration of the Placement cell building marked the start of the celebration. "Star nite" on Aug 6 eve highlighted the celebration.
It commenced with the launch of their magazine Sangamam'91. Mr. Gnanasambandam, the famous speaker, gave delicious meals for ear's thirst. Food palate and Orchestra added a spice to the excellent evening!!

SPORTSMANSHIP

                                                  Victory news of Muthu raja and  team 

The state level handball competition held at Chinnalapatti, Dindigul, saw the Dindigul team emerging as the winners. Muthuraja of second year mechanical from our College had a major hand in taking this team to victory. The news team would like to congratulate our player for this tremendous victory.

CLUB ACTIVITIES

LEO:

In order to celebrate the friendship day, LEO club of ACCET conducted a special event "Treasure hunt".The students were split into groups and enjoyed the game. This event inculcated team work among the students. The gallery hall was overloaded with a stunning response.

FRESHERS:

The first event of freshers' club filled the gallery hall and the nearby classrooms with first years.The students over came the stage fear and enjoyed the event to the core.Around 240 members attended the event.

TECHLIT:

Techlit, the communication club conducted an event called "fun fact" which enhanced the communication skill of the students

ISTE:

"Dare to inspire us"!! Yes! the first round of coordinator selection of ISTE club for this academic year was held on Tuesday. Eight students attended the selection for eighteen post with hope and confidence.

ROTARACT :
Challenging the participants to hack the hurdles, Rotaract team conducted an interesting event named "Strain Storm" on Thursday, Aug 11.

VANDE MATHARAM!!

The date, 15 of August has become a very important day in the Indian history since 1947. It is the day when India became independent after lots of struggles and sacrifices of
the Indian freedom fighters. Indians and India celebrate its 70th Independence Day on 15 August 2016.
On this occasion of Independence Day let us celebrate because, remember, Freedom is not Free... It is worth the price. Those who won our independence believe liberty to be the secret of happiness and courage to be the secret of liberty.This independence day, let us all remember the many struggles faced and the blood shed to bestow us with the happiness that we have today.
Cherish the Independence  !!! Feel the patriotism from within !!!!
Determine to contribute for the betterment of India and it’s people !!!!  Ask Not what the Country can do for you. But what you can do for the Country……
