Our renowned principal Dr. S. Rajakumar inaugurated the former one by Mechanical department. WOMEN PRIDE!!!

A great pride for India is brought worldwide this week by a woman who had been all over the media and social websites. Yes!!! It's P.V. Sindhu from Rio 2016.  Pusarla Venkata Sindhu was born in Hyderabad on  July 21, 1995. Sindhu chose badminton  because she drew her inspiration from the grand success of Pullela Gopichand, an England Open Badminton Champion. She eventually started badminton at the age of eight. On July 7, 2012, she won the "Asian Youth Under 19 Championship" beating Japanese Player by 18–21, 21–17, 22–20 points. In 2013, the 18-years old, 10th seeded Sindhu won in 54 minutes to set up a meeting with seventh-seeded Chinese player Wang Shixian. She beat Wang Shixian to become India's first medalist in women's singles at the World Championship. In 2014 P.V. Sindhu reached the semifinal stage of Glasgow'  Commonwealth Games in women's singles, where she eventually lost. In 2016, She charted the history of achieving the feat as the youngest and first women individual to bag an Olympic Silver medal representing India. The Government of India honoured sindhu by awarding ARJUNA award in 2014. The unknown fact is  that she reported on time at the coaching camps daily, travelling a distance of 56 km from her residence, is perhaps a reflection of her willingness to complete her desire to be a good badminton player with the required hard work and commitment. There is always an unknown hard road to grand success.

FACTSOMANIA!!!

**The world’s deepest postbox is in Susami Bay in Japan. It’s 10 metres underwater.

**Everyone has a unique tongue print, just like fingerprints.

**The Dutch village of Giethoorn has no roads; its buildings are connected entirely by canals and footbridges.

**Wearing headphones for just an hour will increase the bacteria in your ear by 700 times.

**The top of the Eiffel Tower leans away from the sun, as the metal facing the sun heats up and expands. It can move as much as 7 inches.

**There are around 60,000 miles of blood vessels in the human body. If you took them all out and laid them end to end, they’d stretch around the world more than twice. But, seriously, don’t do that either.

MYSTERY CORNER - AREA 51

The United States Air Force facility commonly known as Area 51 is a remote location in Nevada, north of Las Vegas. According to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the correct names for the facility are Homey Airport and Groom Lake. The base's current primary purpose is publicly unknown; however, based on historical evidence, it most likely supports the development and testing of experimental aircraft and weapons systems (black projects). Although the base has never been declared a secret base, all research and occurrences in Area 51 are Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information. No radars or satellites can find out what's going on Area 51 and any flying object near Area 51 is cleared to engaged by the Anti-Aircraft. Weapons and technologies which are far ahead for our generation are being tested and used at Area 51 which makes the USA the super power. Recently, USA accepted the existence of their base Area 51. The world's fastest and the best machines are present in this area.
Some of the activities mentioned in conspiracy theories at Area 51 include:
**The storage, examination, and reverse engineering of crashed alien spacecraft, the study of their occupants (living and dead), and the manufacture of aircraft based on alien technology.
**Meetings or joint undertakings with extra-terrestrials.
**The development of exotic energy weapons for the Strategic Defence Initiative (SDI) or other weapons programs.
**The development of means of weather control.
**The development of time travel and teleportation technology.
**The development of unusual and exotic propulsion systems related to the Aurora Program.
**Activities related to a supposed shadowy one world government or the Majestic 12 organization.
