The revisit from ZOHO shook the college last week. Students were heads on heels to grab the second opportunity Three students were shortlisted for the final interview held at Chennai, yesterday(07/09/2016). Rajan Chakkravarthy of the Final year EEE Department was at last waitlisted by them.EEE ASSOCIATION
The faculty, staff and the students of the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering solicitated the inaugural function of the EEE Association here on 6th of September at the Murugappa hall. Prof.Jebasalma, HOD welcomed the gathering, followed by the presidential address by our Principal. Er. M. Nalini, Executive Engineer, TNEB, Karaikudi, delivered the inaugural address and enlightened the students with her special lecture on Power Systems. The function ended with a spark by the oration from our alumni of the 2010 batch, Mr.Rajkumar Palaniyappan, currently pursuing his research in Germany.
THELIVURAI- Accetians on Youtube
Our college students Roopan kumar and vasanth from the Mechanical Department started the Thelivurai on social media. The main theme of thelivurai is for people to know what do Engineering, Economic and Historical fields mean. They uploaded four videos with social awareness. SPORTS MANIA
The Cricket team had their match in our college and grabbed the second place. The Basket ball team grabbed the fourth place in their game.

FRESHERS:
Freshers association started spreading its wings for the first time in the year 2010. Mr.Rajkumar palaniappan, Founder of the Freshers association, pursuing his research in the University of Dortmund, Germany, glorified the event by his graceful presence and his wonderful speech was an initiative to many of the students. Refreshments were provided. Winner of the day's event, Tag line contest, was Karthik from Ist year, CSE department. The event went was filled with joy.
ISTE:
EEE- A lecture on basics of telsla, DC, AC was given by the name "Tesla Lair".ECE & CSE- overall introduction on C programming was given.
Civil- Lecture on Building Materials and Construction. Its a subject based lecture.
Mech- Ideas on software Pro-e was explained in detail.
YRC:
Very first event for this year bloomed on 6.9.2016(Tuesday). Students got an idea on what is YRC through the introduction. Fun events were conducted.ROTARACT:
Today(08/09/2016), the Rotractors had an event named TopUp with the tag line "Spin the Yarn". A member of the team was given a story which he/she had to convey to each of the members and at last a member was asked to repeat the story on stage. A rather funny event, TopUp, was based on message passing.
MUTHAMIZH MANDRAM:
"Agal",the Muththamil mandram inaugural function was held yesterday(08/09/2016), at the Diwan Bhagadur hall. The Cheif Guest, Mr.Ramanathan, a famous pattimadram speaker lighted up the lamp and the function was started in grand manner. Our college muththamil mandram was always known for its pattimandram and this year too it stirred the audience with delight and laughter. As a unique club of our college it also provided the traditional based refreashments to students. As a part of the function Rangoli competition was held and the winners were awarded with certificates. The staff incharge professor K.Ramadas, organised the function very well and thus the function was fully filled with the essence of tamil culture.

MYSTERY CORNER
BERMUDA TRIANGLE
It is a triangular shaped area in the North Atlantic Ocean, from Bermuda Island to Miami, USA and Puerto Rico.
The Bermuda Triangle is not small. In fact, it is quite large and covers an area of 440,000 miles of sea. This is larger than the combined area of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh & Maharashtra.
Here hundreds of people, aircraft and watercrafts mysteriously disappear into air or beneath the water.
Bermuda Triangle is one of the rare places on earth where the compass does not point towards Magnetic North. Instead of that, it point towards true north, which creates confusion and that's why so many ships and planes lost its course in the triangle
People have experienced electronic fog in bermuda triangle, which can be a Time Travel Tunnel too. Pilot Bruce Gernon claims he lost 28 minutes after flying through a time-warping cloud tunnel. The plane went missing from radars, only to re-emerge in Miami Beach.
Whenever any plane or ship disappears in the Triangle, its debris cannot be found. The reason behind this is that Gulf Stream runs near the triangle, which quickly gets rid of the debris.
The disappearances are ascribed to UFO's and alien activity, city of Atlantis lost under the triangle, and various other technical, natural and geographical reasons.
The mystery continues yet to be solved!!!

When life wanted to bless you, it gave you a teacher, the ultimate gift of God. He gives and knows only to give. He is a visionary, a seer, a sage and profound. He is not ordinary, because he can make you extraordinary. He comes into your life to change the way you look at life. You are no more the same again. Your understanding of things change, your knowledge grows, you grow. Yes ! He is none other than , a TEACHER . Feeling proud to wish a very happy Teacher's day to all beloved teachers .
