INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering proudly present a two day International Conference on Computation Communication and Innovation. The TEQIP-II sponsered event was held on 5th and 6th of October, 2016. Many delegates from Malaysia and Singapore came all the way to our College and shared their knowledge treasure with the students. Many PhD and PG pursuers presented their papers in front of the delegates who judged it and also gave a piece of their mind to the participants.

A three day (3.10.2016 - 5.10.2016) workshop on Electrical Networks and Filter Design sponsored by TEQIP II took place on the virtual class room, EEE department. With a bloom of inauguration,the course session walked gloriously from 9.45am till 5.15pm. First half session of the first day was a lecture on Computer based Modelling and Analysis of Electrical Networks by Dr.A.Arunya Revathy, Asst.Prof, Department of EEE, ACCET. The next half of the session was splitted into two lectures, one by Dr.S.Nageswari, Asst.Prof, Department of EEE, ACCET and another by Prof.G.Amuthan, Asst.Prof, Department of EEE, ACCET. Next day half session was a lecture by Prof.P.Madasamy, Asst. Prof, Department of EEE, ACCET. Other half of the session ended with a lecture from Prof.ML.Ramamoorthy, Asst.Prof, Department of EEE, ACCET. The last and final day started with a lecture by Dr.M.Balasubramonian, Asst.Prof, Department of EEE, ACCET and ended with a lecture from Prof.Saranya and Prof.Priyadharshini, Asst. Profs, Department of EEE, ACCET. The course shoneoff with a validictory function.

EEE EVENT

Under the guidance of Prof.G Amuthan (EEE department ), the final year students conducted a lecture session on Micro-controller [PIC 18] for all intrested Electronic buddies in the EEE Department Conference Hall here on 06. 10. 2016 evening. On the successive classes they have planned for a hands-on kits demonstration. All these efforts are to lay a basic controller knowledge among students which aid them for their projects.

SPORTS MANIA

This week we are busy with the Handball team. The match was held in our College in which the students passed on to the semifinals. The guys came up with a blast in the finale emerging winners. Kudos to our boys.

FRESHERS

This tuesday(04. 10. 2016) the gallery hall is turned close but students inside......Peeking into the doors!!!  with an overwhelming  crowd, The Freshers club took the next step in nourishing the first years with a professional skill.The team conducted session on Power Point Slide Presentation (PPT) and a special demonstration by final year EEE student,Dhiesh Singh - explained the all his DIY (Do It Yourself )experiments. This made all the 170 students to turn spellbound.

ROTARACT

After the club's installation, here are the Rotarians for the club event 'Datenwort' with its regular chasers.The importance of English language was pictured and this helped the members in overcoming their stress.

LEO

Refreshing Brain, a successful Leo club event focussed on the memory power of the students. Energetic students enthusiastically involved in the event and enhanced their grasping power.

TECHLIT

This week, the Techlit club enlighted the students on how to face the placements. As a part of it, Pradeep Kanna of final year EEE, who was placed in tech mahindra and Deepa Lakshkmi, final year EEE,  who got her placement in Saint Gobain, shared their placement experience with the students.

SAEINDIA

Thrust car event went of fine from SAE INDIA club. More excitements More experience. More than five teams participated in the battle. This event was actually scheduled on Monday. Since the Mechanical students had their series test on Monday, it was postponed to Tuesday.
