PONGALO PONGAL!!!

Holidays are always sweet to our ears. It becomes extra sweet when you get pongal and sugarcane to stir your taste buds. Pongal is celebrated in due respect of our beloved Farmers and Cows. Can you imagine a life without food? That is a big NO. That is why we celebrate pongal. Due to some unacceptable reasons, jallikattu, our traditional game, has been banned in TamilNadu bringing a big disappointment.
Following the custom, our Muthamizh Mandram took a forehand in celebrating Samathuva Pongal in our college today(12-01-2017). Pongal started beaming at 7:30 in the morning. Students and Staff were provided delicious Pongal to stir up the Pongal season.

PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

In addition to academics our college has been training our techies on their personality development. The Personality Factor - 16 was conducted from 9th to 13th of January for the Second year students. The assessment and counselling was given by Mr. Sam Nathan, Director of iScottberg Solution Pvt Ltd., Chennai. This was organized by the EEE Department along with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell.

TIME FOR BARBIE WALKS!!!

ACCET gates are opened for Techies, Researchers and Staffs but ACCET hostels are open for all, from students to even two leged peacocks and four leged bulls. At last the College Management has taken  steps to turn the mini Zoological park back to girls hosteI. Metal gateway rollers are installed in the main gate of girls hostel to avoid the entry of animals inside.Students welcomed it cheerfully but not wholeheartedly as this instalation still can't stop the unexpected visit of long tail monkeys which play hide and seek for snacks and the usual snake crawls stops our ladies from stepping out of their rooms after 8 at night. With a big hope on College Management, the  Students are waiting for an effective solution to the above problems.

A DISEASE CALLED LOVE

Increased energy, increased heart rate and blood pressure and the inability to sleep or eat. Falling in love is nice, isn't it? Literature and Poetry have often described Love as a kind of madness and the medical profession takes a similar approach. A widespread disease all over the world, "Lovesickness" is rarely used in medical or psychological fields. When one is "Truly, Madly, Deeply" in Love he or she should be taken more seriously by Medical Professionals. Various treatments are available too. So, how love sick are you today?
