THIRAN-2017

             In our prestigious institution ACCET, THIRAN  a project platform supported by our Alumni had conducted a kick off on 22.7.2017.It was started at 10 a.m. with the presence of the PRINCIPAL DR.A.ELANGO, Mr.Senthil Anandha Prakash, Mr.Senthil Kumar sir, Mr.Ravikumar, Dr.Ganesan(HOD-CSE), Mr.Sasikumar(2012)
          Totally 152 students attended the morning session and 107  students attended the afternoon workshop session titled by "web designing"  which was conducted by Mr.Guruprasad(2013), Mr.Vijayakrishna(2013),Mr.Krishna Kumar(2017). 
THIRAN website (www.thiran.in) has been opened and the students who are willing to do a project should register.THIRAN is one of the majestic opportunity to build your future technical knowledge.Perks of doing THIRAN projects results in internship too. 
For your kind notice,  this year in THIRAN, "start-up " plans are also welcomed. For future entrepreneurs here is a grand opening and make use of it.
LEO club 
 



       Leo club is the starters for the club activities to energize our ACCETIANS.The second and Third-year aspirants have attended this event on Monday in final year mechanical classroom.The name of the event is AS I AM SUFFERING FROM TICK TOCK. The event was based on multitasking ability and it was done with appreciation manner.The winner and runner were awarded price amount.

 ROTARACT, the well-known club of ACCET proudly present its event MULTITAREFA on Thursday in Gallery Hall. It comprises of five events namely Know your friends, Lie story, From-to, Posture, Suffle words. The second and third-year enthusiastic were attended these interesting events with a lot of funs. The enrolment was done for passionate aspirants.

     Mr. Ramanathan, the alumni of our traditional institution has been involved in developing students programming language " Python".Python is a high level, interpreted and general purpose dynamic programming language, that focuses on code readability. The language founded in the year 1991 by Guido Van Rossum.The python is widely used in a bigger organization because of its multiple programming paradigms.The software development companies prefer Python.The programmers of big companies use python and it has created a mark for itself in software development with characteristics namely 1.Interactive

3.Interpreted
4.Object - oriented
5.Portable.
These were the advantages of Python and the workshops will be conducted on July 29,30.

National Programming Aptitude Test (NPAT) :
Respected gentlemen/women, NPTEL in association with ACM India and google has planned to conduct National Programming Aptitude Test (NPAT) on 13 August 2017. The students can sign up from July 9, 2017, to August 13, 2017 up to 10.45 AM. After signing in the student can learn and practice programming in c,c++ and Java.The NPAT exam starts at 11.00 AM on August 13, 2017. The scores will be shared with potential employers who can use this pool to recruit. The link for registration is. https://npat.nptel.ac.in . This whole initiative is free of cost. Kindly share this information with students, so that it may be helpful for them.

Hello all,
This one especially for the Zoho aspirants. As we unsure of Zoho recruiting this year, our alumni have given us an opportunity for entering Zoho placements. This year under thirty's banner we have launched JavaScript and node Js platforms similar to the Zoho platform started last year. Students who are willing can attend the sessions for this platform and present your projects on their demo day. If you show ultimate interest and are fit enough, alumni said he would get you a chance to attend Zoho interview. This adds an advantage in getting placed there.
Also, I emphasize that the training is not gonna be only Zoho oriented like the last year projects. Any company you go you will be asked to study JavaScript as it's one of the most popular languages. Think of this and start working. We have a shortage of time.

 PROF.AMUTHAN SIR'S CLASS:
                                              
                                  OFFLINE NPTEL CLASS INSIDE THE CAMPUS

         Last Tuesday, Prof Amuthan sir of EEE dept saved many of those troubled souls by taking a class about the basics of circuit theory. With a decent strength of final year students and pre final year students, the class took great turns and twists into the concepts of circuit theory.
Further more classes are expected to be taken.
        VENUE :Final year class room every Tuesday.

 Placement activities :
The grabbing of opportunities is set out for Accetians.perception of knowledge is well bounded for Accetians.As per the fact, S.SURYA PRAKESH from the Mechanical department is embraced by saint Gobain with the well bounty of 7.3 lakhs.The coding for software will never culminate until the world exists.Likewise, C.J.SAISRUTHY who is pursuing CSE stepped into her career as project trainee in Zoho corporation. Accetians divulge their perception in every profession.As per the norms, J.ABRAHAM pursuing in Mechanical engineering promulgated as a journalist in JuniorVikadan.kudos Accetians.


Yoga

 The Sanskrit word "YOGA" comes from the word "YUJ" which means, "TO UNITE". It is widely practiced for health and relaxation.
Prof. Ramadas of EEE department having 15 years of experience and passion towards ISHA yoga. He had palpable the good features of yoga, so he took his liability of spreading it among the students.
He got permission from a principal and arranged a yoga session in Murugappa hall, he taught "SELF REALISATION " and breathing experience to all students. From Monday (24/7/17)to Friday.
Everyday evening (4.30 t0 5.30) he spends his valuable time to all department students.



POLYGLOTISM

With the need to nurture English efficiency, English dept has organized 1 credit courses as a part of CBCS system. The courses constitute of 
BEC -Business English Certificate (Cambridge Univ certification). 
IELTS- International English Language Testing Service
French and German language classes.
These courses are not mandatory, so whoever has a keen interest in learning and competing, shall enroll them.


INCOME TAX DAY          
                    *      We are proud to be tax payers of our country. Tax is the main source of growth of our nations public welfare schemes, infrastructure projects and security of the nation. Income tax day was celebrated on 24 of this month, this was the 157 th year of celebration of Income tax department. The 157 th year of Income Tax department was celebrated on 24 th July 2017. The income tax day was first introduced on 24 July 1860 by the British. It was mainly introduced by the British to compensate losses suffered by them during the first war of our independence in 1857. On that day chairman of Income Tax department, Sushil Chandra greeted all the tax payers for their service to the nation
DR. A.P.J.ABDUL KALAM'S MEMORIAL DAY:

Dr. Abdul Kalam, former President of India, is considered an honorable person of our country. Born in a simple family, on 15th October 1931, Abdul Kalam turned to be a scientist and administrator. As a scientist, his service to the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is enormous. For the missile launches done under the accountability of Kalam, he is prominently called the “Missile Man of India”.
He not only served as a scientist; but also spent his time lecturing students of various institutes of India. The awards and honors Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was innumerable; which includes the Bharat Ratna, Ramanujan Award, Veer Savarkar Award, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan.
Such a remarkable man departed his life while delivering a lecture at IIM, Shillong, on 27 July 2015.
