NSS:
The privileged people from Sankarapuram village panchayat visited our principal as part of creating 'SWACHH BHARAT'. Our beloved principal Dr.A.Elango , worked along with the members and proved his nobility and willingness in creating a cleaner environment.
Our ACCET has taken a preliminary step to prevent the students from dengue fever. The initiative step is to provide nilavembu kasayam for our students by NSS. It is considered as one of the antibiotics which prevents the people from this terrible fever.
FRESHER'S ASSOCIATION:
With the presence of new buds of ACCET, the fresher's association had organized an inaugural function on 19.9.2017. It was presided over by DR.G.PANEER SELVAM, the professor of civil engineering. The welcome address was given by DR.B.V.BHUVANESHWARI, professor of the physics department and also the staff in-charge of fresher's association. In this auspicious occasion, the action plan throughout the year was explained by the president of fresher's association Mr.Surya Prakash, and the association is going to hit the target as mentioned in the action plan and the refreshments were provided for the students wholeheartedly.
ROTRACT EVENT:
The ROUND TABLE is the group discussion event. This event mainly aims at creating co-ordination among the group members and to avoid hesitation in speaking. With a great agility, the co-ordinators of rotract taught the do's and dont's regarding GD. The funny topics were given to the students and the suggestions, advice was given based on their performance.
LEO
CHASSE AE , is the event name which denotes Treasure hunt.Everyone knows about this but here it's a huge difference. A single team consists of three members and allocated 12 locations to find clues.The clues were written over name board from that we can find the answer. The final answer is in the Gallery Hall in which question was Father of Engineering.It enhances our mind to chase all those answers in a quick manner.It improves our fast mind calculation and enhances us to be in fresh mind
CESAR:
The civil symposium named CESAR, had contentedly organized for two days dated on 20.09.17 and 21.09.17. The sangamam hall was inundated with civil engineering students. The chief guest of this fantastic occasion was MANU RAJ our courteous alumni (1975 BATCH), who is working as a chief engineer in PWD. The occasion was initiated by lightning the lamp. Subsequently, the dance allured everyone. The chief guest was fascinated on seeing the dance performance. On the day first, the treasure hunt had been organized for our college students. The applaudable one was awarded prizes for figuring out the tricks. The guest lecture was given on the topic, water resource management and he draws the attention of others with his inspirational speech.
On the day second, the students from various colleges had partaken in the event named CADDING,CEBUZZ, CODE CRACKER, CUBO JETTERING, and LIVIC MANIAC. The PPT, various fun and technical events had been conducted to enrich their minds with enthusiastic thoughts. Finally, the valediction session had been organized and refreshments were provided.
SPORTS NEWS:
The volleyball team bagged the gold in zonals. The event was held in Madurai Anna university. The team smashed out the Thiagarajar college of Engineering in semi-finals and stepped into finals. The ACCETIANS braced the KLN college of engineering and flickered with gold. Kudos ACCETIANS.

Considering the difficulties and adversities faced during the placement activities and selection rounds, some of our alumni Mr.Raghunathan of 1993 batch,. Mr. Vijay Annamalai of 2007 batch along with his team of 11 members came to our rescue through their Career guidance program with the idea of preparing the student ‘A’ ok for the placement drives. Universal law:Gratitude
Gratitude operates through a universal law that governs the whole life. According to the law of attraction which governs all the energy in our universal world from the formation of an atom to the movement of the planets, "like attracts like".It's because of the law of attraction that the cells of every living creature are held together as well as the substance of every material object. In our life law operates on our thoughts and feelings, because they are energy too and whatsoever we think, whatever we feel, we attract to ourselves.
Its works are in the same way as metal being drawn to a magnet, our gratitude is magnetic and the more gratitude we have more abundance we magnetize. It's universal law. We should learn to give thanks in every small way. When we wake up in the morning, we should give thanks for the morning light, for our life and strength. Giving thanks for our food and joy of living. If we see no reason to give thanks, the faults lie with ourselves. No matter who we are, no matter where we are, no matter what our current circumstances are, the magic of gratitude will change our entire life. In fact, whatever it is that we want to be, do or have, gratitude is the way to receive. To receive we have to give. It's the universal law. Gratitude is giving thanks and without it, we cut ourselves off from the magic and from everything we want from life. Whoever does not have gratitude even what he or she has will be taken back from him or her. Thank you is the bridge from where we are now, to the life of our dreams. As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not just to utter words but to live by them.
When we are grateful for the things we have, no matter how small they may be, we will see those things instantly increase. And also, when we count negative things they increase too, but on top of that, with every negative thought that we count, we cancel out blessings that were on their way. We need to just get clear about what we really want. And we should list the things that we want , but at such moment we should not focus on how we are going to get it. The how will be done for us when gratitude works it's magic. When we get clear about the things we want, we are giving a definite direction to the way we want Gratitude's magical power to change our life and by this, we are ready to begin the most exciting and thrilling adventure we have ever been on.
