FRESHER'S ASSOCIATION:

                In the splendid evening on 31.10.17, the event named INBOX had been conducted for the first years. Due to their  lack of awareness in creating a mail-id, the fresher's association had wholeheartedly organised this event for the sake of freshers. In addition to that, the fresher's association had  conducted a  kick off for driving license campaign.  Persons above the age 18 can attend this session and make use of this opportunity.The registeration fees of this campaign is 50 rupees. Finally the license can be  received after the payment of 3800 rupees.

CIVIL DEPARTMENT:

   For the upcoming CIVIL engineers the special programme was taken place on 02/11/2017 . The welcome address was given by Prof.G.PANNEERSELVAM,Head of the CIVIL department.The presidential address was given by. Dr.A.ELANGO,The principal.It was facilitated by Dr.L.GANESAN,Vice principal.Introduction was given by Dr.C.SIVANESAN,Assistant Professor . The chief guest Prof.M.M.M.NAJIM,VICE CHANCELLOR,South Eastern university, Srilanka provides a wonderful lecture on HYDROLOGICAL MODELLING AND ENVIRONMENTAL FLOWS.Finally the vote of thanks was provided by Mr.A.DHARANIDHARAN ,Assistant Professor.                 

Series test :

              The third internal is conducted for the second, third and fourth year from Nov 1 to Nov 3. The students braced the internal  more effectively. ACGCETIANS on the mode of spark. 

GUVI sessions:

    Last Friday, GUVI had its inauguration in Sangamam hall with its basic introduction and whereabouts. The next day, first session of GUVI took place. The session took place in two phases- one for IT and another one for Non-IT. Basics of Java were being taught for ones in IT and for Non-IT, they took python language basics and stuffs. This GUVI program is scheduled for three weeks with frequent assessment and points for the students. At the end of program, Gofrugal will consider those with Great points for placement and internship.

Today, our college's official magazine, Xprez launched this semester's First magazine- the vintage edition. The magazine was published by the students welfare association, which talks about the notable activities and news of this semester in the college and phenomenal stuffs around the world. We, ACCET news members, whole-heartedly congratulate the team members and associates of Xprez magazine and welfare association on the success of the magazine launch.

RedMi:

RedMi is a budget smartphone line manufactured by Xiaomi, that was first announced in July 2013.Redmi phones use the Xiaomi MIUI operating system, a variant of Android. Models can be divided into regular RedMi phones with screens up to 5" and RedMi Note series with displays exceeding 5". Only phone besides these two series is Redmi Pro, first introduced in 2016 with Dual Camera system, USB-C and unique for Xiaomi devices OLED display. Redmi phones have been marketed in several Asian and European countries.The most significant difference from other Xiaomi smartphones is that it uses less-expensive components and thus is more cost-effective. In August 2014 The Wall Street Journal reported that in the second quarter of the 2014 fiscal year Xiaomi smartphone shipment rankings in China with a market share of 14%.Redmi sales were attributed as a contributing factor toward this gain in shipment rankings.
