VISAI:

VISAI is the new platform in ACGCET. The alumni of various department visited our college on 27/12/2017.This session was conducted in Murugappa hall. The presidential address was given by our honourable principal Dr. A. ELANGO. This gathering was organized by dr. A. SIVANANTHA RAJA,  assistant professor, ECE.     Mr. S. SENTHIKUMAR, MECH department.They shared their experiences of creating the electric cycle. They are  interested to create a electric bike because in upcoming years e - bikes are to be marketed due to lack of fossil fuels according to the survey. They started their own company VISAIYON. there is a mutual concern between the ACGCETIANS and them. They are interested to select a member of students ,those who are willing to learn something, from various departments of second and third years . They will guide us and we can also be benefited from experiencing the industrial knowledge.
So students be aware of this and grab the opportunity.


First Year Semester Exams :
    The first year ventured into the burst of first semester. The scary semester begins on December 28. The expedition continues till Jan 8.

PLACEMENT ACTIVITIES PEP TALKS

The pre final year of ACGCET  has gain a spark of awareness about the placement activities prevailing in our college.  This gathering was happened in MURUGAPPA HALL . The head of the PLACEMENT TRAINING COORDINATOR   T. K. SHANTHI,  head of the ECE department,   PROF. A. DHARANIDHARAN,  assistant professor, CIVIL department,Dr. B. GURUPRASAD, MECH department provided the motivational   speech that inspired many hearts of the future aspirants.  They clearly explained the scenario of placement activities and also gave a strategic tips to achieve the goal.  The student PLACEMENT COORDINATORS are very friendly and down trodden persons, they also provided the clear vision about placement.

ISTE(Indian Society for Technical Education):
           ISTE had conducted an event named "PHOTOSHOP" in the groovy evening on 27.12.2017. This session had  undertaken by (Chittinathan-final year-CSE) and the event went on with the help of ISTE Co-ordinators. More than 50 students had attended this session and codified their ideas given by the guide. The students of ACGCET should definitely whip into shape due to the presence of these auspicious clubs.


Thiran Demo Day :
 In Jan6, 2018  Thiran along with ACCETOSA have planned to kick start their Demo day. Over 70 projects  from various streams and depts are expected this year.

Youth Red Cross :
          It comes under service based club in which they are implementing a green house.More and more sampling were grown up.Its a vital role executived by the yrc chairman Gajendranath of Final year mechanical on behalf of the Program officer K.T.Loganathan sir.It's a project given to the yrc team to prove their strength which relates the word - unity

 Happy New Year


Before going to welcome our new year, at least try to know some facts about a year.
Did you know what is a year? A year is the orbital period taken by the Earth moving in its orbit around the Sun. A calendar year is an approximation of the number of days of the earth's orbital period as counted in a given calendar.
Generally a year is a period of 365 days starting from the first of January. One of the international calendar known as Julian calendar estimated the average length of a year is 365.25 days.
There are several calendars which was followed around the world. The calendars are mainly based on the religious  beliefs and scientific reasons.
The Gregorian calendar is internationally the most widely used civil calendar. It is named after Pope Gregory XII, who introduced it in October 1582. And this calendar is mainly based on solar cycle.
The terms used to label this calendar are anno domini(AD), and before Christ(BC). Now we are living in the period of AD.
Everyone in this world are eagerly waiting to celebrate the birth of new year 2018, unfortunately we forgot a fact that our earth is missing a year in its life cycle. So let we all ready to enjoy the birth of new year, with lot of  expectations and  excitements.

9. All brain cells are not alike. There are as many as 10,000 specific types of neurons in the brain. 
10. Your brain needs a constant supply of oxygen. As little as five minutes without oxygen can cause some brain cells to die, leading to severe brain damage.
