Induction programme:
       Again in this semester, an induction programme on "Human Values" was conducted by the dept of Maths. Vasanthi ma'am and Mathu sir of ECE dept shared their words on human values and personality development. The programme continued for two days and at the end of second day, the winners of last semester induction programme were awarded




NSS:

Our college NSS volunteers won First Prize in Poster Presentation andwon First Prize in Documentary Film  held at Statelevel two day workshop on "We the volunteers" Conducted by Anna University and ACTech Chennai.

CSE SYMPOSIUM:
            The COGNOBLAZE of 2K18 sparkled the ideas of students with enlightened thoughts. The function was inaugurated by our beloved principal Dr.A.ELANGO ( PRINCIPAL OF OUR ESTEEMED INSTITUTION). His motivational speech inspired many hearts of future aspirants. The function was presided over by Dr.L.GANESAN (HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT CSE).Dr.C.UMARANI (CO-ORDINATOR OF CSE ASSOCIATION) addressed the chief guest with pleasure. The event named GEEKS, EXPRESSA, EXCAVACIA, TURNCOAT and (ESCAPADE-ONLINE TREASUREHUNT) had been conuducted for the students to tackle the puzzles. Students from various colleges were acrobatic in the events and they bagged the prizes. Snacks and foods were provided for the students and the vote of thanks had been delivered by S.VARSHINI (FINAL YEAR CSE).

Civil survey camp:

Our ACGCETIANS of third year CIVIL undergoing the survey camp from 15/2/18 to 25/2/18 in Pillaiyarpatti under the head of Prof. G. PANNEERSELVAM,  Dr. C. SIVANESAN , Dr. C. VIJAYA PRABHA,  Dr. S. MARIRAJ MOHAN,  Tmt. K. AARTHI. The CIVILIANS are very much excited to work out their theory in practical and they also going to gain the field experience . This journey will definitely help our fellow students to handle the practical scenario and they will also enjoy themselves to eagerly work into it with full heartedness.

The 2018 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XXIII Olympic Winter Games (Korean: 제23회 동계 올림픽, translit. Jeisipsamhoe Donggye Ollimpik) and commonly known as PyeongChang 2018, is an ongoing international multi-sport event hosted by the county of Pyeongchang, South Korea. The county was selected as the host city in July 2011, during the 123rd IOC Session in Durban, South Africa. It marks the first time that South Korea has hosted the Winter Olympics, and the second Olympics held in the country, the first being the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. It is the first time since the 1998 Winter Olympics that the Winter Olympics have been held in East Asia.
