General Article:

National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day is on April 12, the perfect day to celebrate the gooey goodness of melted cheese and toasty bread. How do you make your grilled cheese? There are two schools: The first puts cheese between bread and grills, flipping when browned on one side to brown on the other. The second puts cheese between the bread and then sprinkles more cheese on a buttered grill, grilling the sandwich in the cheese on the grill. Which school are you in? Is it the creamy, buttery melted cheese between the slices? Or the toasted, crunchy cheese outside with that creamy, buttery melted cheese inside? Maybe you’re like us and opt for both. Whichever grilled cheese you love, make sure to enjoy it on National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day!
