TRACTOR COMPETITION:
                       

The best part of the competition is that through it we discover "what we are capable of -and how much more we can actually do than we ever believed possible". Accessions once again added a gem to the crown of the ACGCET . The Society of Automative Engineers(SAE) has conducted a Tractor Design Competition (TDC) for its first time in history . Our students as a member of SAE participated in the SAE southern section level competition. 25 Mechanical students from our college in the name of "ACCET INNOVATORS"  participated in the competition. 

The competition was conducted in SRM college, Chennai. It was conducted for three consecutive days from 21st to 23 rd June. EVE- the tractor designed by our students participated all three days passing the following tests such as Brake test, Maneuverability test,noise control, durability . Nearly ,14 colleges from southern India has participated in that section.

"Accet innovators" made a proud moment for ACGCET with their EVE. The results are yet to be announced.Hoping for the best.

                 

LATERAL ENTRY COUNSELLING-2018:
                

Our college is known for so many of its specialities, but having the Lateral entry counselling  in our college premise still ceases to be the icing on the cake. The lateral entry admissions under Anna University for the year 2018 started on June 30 and is expected to close gates by the 8th of July.
Our chests puff with pride on knowing that the admission software is developed by our college students from the CSE department. It is programmed to make all arrangements from invitations for application to dispatch of call letters for direct entry into the second year B.E and B.Tech courses all over Tamil Nadu.
The team for admissions also includes faculties from our college. This team is led by the Principal, Dr.A.Elango who is the secretary for admissions.
 Like in the previous years, this year too our college did the honourable work with passion.
COLLEGE REOPEN:
               

I'm so glad that our college is stepping into a fresh start. The academic year of 2018-2019 has well started on 27th June 2018. Along with flowers the hearts of students blossomed with the reopen of our college in this pleasant June. After a long break of almost 40 days everyone was so glad to meet and get together with their friends, staffs and colleagues. As usual the first two days were filled up with hostel admission, room allocation, room shifting etc. The whole college was colourful with the accommodation of our students. As a whole it was a fresh start, may it be a charming thing for everyone. Hoping for more delightful events in the upcoming months of ACGCET.
FUN FACTS:
