ZOHO -PLACEMENT:                     

The placements from our college have been appreciable owing to it's fineness . Many companies come by for campus interviews to our college and ZOHO is one  prestigious company among them. The actual selection process consists of four levels . The first filtering level involves aptitude test which took place today(19.7.18) in CSE department. Seventeen students got selected to the next level which is expected to be a programming skill testing level.The company showed up by the end of last semester for internship selection and 3 students from CSE dept succeeded in cracking through the levels. Expecting for the selection to give good results this year too.

YOGA:      

"Yoga is the dance of every cell with the music of every breath that creates serenity and harmony".The celebration of International Yoga day took place on 18th  of this month in our college. Proudly,this was the fourth consecutive year of celebration in our ACGCET. The program was initiated by our beloved principal Dr.A.Elango and was conducted by prof.Dr.K.Ramadas . Many students from  second year and prefinal year was a part of this program. faculties too joined the session with their students. This session went on ,nearly for an hour with some asanas and finally ended up with breathing exercise. It created a peaceful vibe in minds of the participants. Some initiative is taken for conducting yoga classes for students in weekdays as possible.
XPREZ -CO-ORDINATOR SELECTION:

Today's evening (19.07.2018) bestowed with the xprez  coordinator selection by our  third years. The students of  second years assisted in this selection.Each one of them  manifested  their knowledge and insightful ideas and unmasked their talents. The accountability of  students as a xprez coordinator has been learnt by everyone. Eventually, the coordinators of xprez are decided in a great manner.
CLUB ACTIVITIES :
LEO:

This Monday "Rock the roku" event was conducted by prefinal and final year coordinators of our college. It was a technical connections event aiming at improving the technical vocabulary . The second year and third year students took active participation.The event was followed by a series of fun events to cheer the crowd.
YOUTH RED CROSS:

The students of second years are well arranged in the order to make our college clean by YRC. The second year students  planted the saplings and they stretched their wonderful helping hands to lead a healthy life with pure environment .Plant saplings were planted around Murugappa hall with the enthusiastic participation of team co-ordinators and teammates.
