INDUCTION PROGRAMME:
Getting along with change is the hardest part of our lives. And one such change is when we enter into our college life.The first years have been arranged with an induction programme from the 18th of August which is expected to continue till the 3rd of September in Murugappa hall. Faculties from the Science department gave motivational speeches on how to steer through college life. A yoga session was also conducted. A plan to revise over the High School portions is also on the list. It is sure that the freshers find this to be a head start.
KERALA RELIEF FUND:
Kerala,hit by the very very distressing flood in last years.Many of the keralite people lost their normal life because of the disaster.Many NGO's and people from various parts of the country are giving their helping hands to the keralite people.Union govt has offered Rs.600 crores to the kerala govt as a distress relief fund,where as the state govt had asked for Rs. 2200Crores,In this critical situation UAE govt had given a helping hand to kerala by donating Rs.700 crores as a flood relief fund,but Union govt refused to take the fund.Because,according to India's foriegn policy "The govt of India doesn't appeal any foriegn aid in the wake of disaster".But our government failed to donate the fund asked by kerala govt.Just for the matter of policy Indian govt refused to takeover the fund given by the UAE govt.Things apart,Let us all pray for the kerala to take a quick relief from the disaster.
ISTE:
When one shows interest towards something,they have gone halfway towards success. The preliminary round of ISTE coordinator selection for the second year students took place in Admin Block on the 21st of August. Many students took part in it with great interest. The first round checked their logical thinking through a 30 minute aptitude test. Their answers are now under evaluations.
PLACEMENT NEWS:
Employability is hugely important in the current climate of higher education and rightly so.Graduates need to feel confident of finding a good job at the end of their course and perhaps more importantly,placement are incredibly valuable for increasing self confidence and encouraging reflective practice. Here comes next to ZOHO , SYSBIZ company visited our college for campus recruitment on 10.08.2018. Students of all departments including MCA attended the placement drive. Nearly 70 students attended it at the beginning, out of which six members gone up-to the final round. Finally, the seniors from ECE department named Jp.Nivetha shree and Nihar Ahamed Fathima had got recruitment in this company.
SERIES TEST:
This year started with a bang and in fact had a lot of holidays. But time has come for the first series test to begin. The students who once gathered in canteen with friends are now busy with books in library. The 29th to 31st of August is the officially announced test dates. Good luck everyone on the first exams of this academic year.

LEO CLUB:
This week the event on LEO club was an enthusiastic topic, "Photoshop". Though this event the ethics of photoshop was taught to the students. The students were guided with examples and side by side demostrations. Thus the students got a quickline on the basics of photoshop. Students showed active participation.

Bakrid also known Eid-al-adha means festival of sacrifice is celebated all over the world by the Islamic community to comemorate the sacrifice of Ibrahim(Father of all prophets).once in his dream,God ordered him to sacrifice his dearest one to him.After having a discussion with his wife ,Ibrahim decided to sacrifice his own son to his god. on the day of sacrifice ,God had stopped him with his angel gabriel.Then they decided to slaughter a goat instead of his son,which is then divided into three parts:First part is given to poor needy people,the remaining two part is shared with their relatives.To comemorate this sacrifice people of islamic community slaughter an animal to their god,and offer special prayers for their god.
ONAM:
The Story goes during the reign of mighty asura (demon) king, Mahabali, Kerala witnessed its golden era. Every body in the state was happy and prosperous and king was highly regarded by his subjects. Apart from all his virtues, Mahabali had one shortcoming. He was egoistic. This weakness in Mahabali's character was utilized by Gods to bring an end to his reign as they felt challenged by Mahabali's growing popularity. However, for all the good deed done by Mahabali, God granted him a boon that he could annually visit his people with whom he was so attached. It is this visit of Mahabali that is celebrated as Onam every year. People make all efforts to celebrate the festival in a grand way and impress upon their dear King that they are happy and wish him well.
