MECHANICAL SYMPOSIUM:
The department of Mechanical engineering of ACGCET ie "MECHASSO" organised their two days intra level technical symposium "#FUEL 2K18" on 25th and 26th of this September. Er. B. Arokiaraj Fernando, AGM, Sanmar metals limited ,as well as our alumini made his valuable presence as our chief guest and our alumni shared his experience with Our TEQIP co-ordinator and senior Professor Dr. A. Ramadevi made the function more enthusiastic with the presidential address. Dr. R. Malayalamoorthy, HOD, mechanical department welcomed the gathering. Dr.B.Guruprasad,staff incharge,Fuel2k18 felicitated our cheif guest. Dr. Sarala,Shackles, co-ordinator, felicitated the gathering. Our student secretary Mr. Mothil Bharathi, delivered the theme of MECHASSO 2k18, followed only student Co-ordinator Ms. Atchaya, explained the objective of the technical events. This time there are 12 technical events and students from second and third year showed their active participation in all events and won many prizes.
ECE SYMPOSIUM:
Talent wins games, teamwork and intelligence win a championship. Our department of Electronics and Communication Engineering proudly presented a National level technical symposium on 26th and 27th September. Our honorable Dr.A.Sivanantha Raja, head of the department welcomes the gathering with his well-mannered speech. Our respectable Dr.A.Ramadevi, head of the chemistry department felicitated the assembly. Our beloved Dr.Malayala Moorthy, head of the mechanical department presented a wonderful speech on this function. The chief guest Mr.P.Raj pandiyan, program manager of the Nagra vision in Mumbai deliver a magnificent oration for the arrived dignities. On the initial day, a workshop was conducted by Pantech proEd solutions Pvt.ltd, Chennai. The session was taken over by Mr.S. Raj Kumar in the topic of Digital Image processing . The second day ends by conducting the events such as fun, technical, ppt presentation, and project. At last , prizes were distributed for winners in recognizing the outstanding performances. The day ends with marvelous celebration in a predominant manner.
CLUB ACTIVITIES:
LEO:
LEO club organised an event named 'PICBINE' this week. The whole event went active by students doing their tasks. The event was based on jigsaw puzzle. Students were given cluster of pieces and asked to align them as a picture. But the real fun is that some pieces were given by demanding completion of tasks. Students enjoyed the whole event and participated actively.

CECRI open day:
This esteemed institution had its open day on 25th September. The gates restricted for staffs and students of the institute is now opened to all. It was a feast to eyes seeing the exhibition with an art gallery, a pile of experiments and demonstrations by scientists. For experience, our college made arrangements to visit the campus and the 1st year students wandered the place with excitement and queries.
