The department of  computer science & engineering had conducted their intra level symposium on tuesday with many fascinating events. Students from all the 3 years had participated in those events with interest. Some of the interesting events are Referatu(ppt),Googleit,cut the guardian knot(puzzles),prelims(technical qui

TOEFL INAUGURATION:

Developing excellent communication skills is absolutely essential to effective leadership. In order to develop interpersonal communication skills, Our  ACGCET organized a  voice training program for the prefinal years. Our honorable principal Dr.A.Elango felicitated the function. Our respected Prof.A.kathiresan, HOD of the English department and also the coordinator of this TOEFL training program welcomes the gathering in his well-mannered speech and at a subsequent time, Our beloved chief guest Dr.A.Lily, general manager of the voice training and research institutions, Madurai gave a marvelous overture about TOEFL training.Mr.Viswanathan and Mr.Jenith, senior trainer of the voice training and research delivered a detailed information about the importance of TOEFL.

Industrial Visit:

 Industrial visit is a major fun part of being in college. And that is something every student waits for as a fresh academic year starts. This year, the 3rd year EEE students visited ACE components in Karnataka. While the prefinal years had a 3 day trip(14.10.18-17.10.18), the final years of EEE department went for a 4 day long trip to Coorg ,Mysore and Chikmangalore.

They had a safe and fun trip.Also it is an extra overfilled happiness for final years of ECE dept .Their three days trip from 15th october includes Kutralam, boat house in alappuzha Varkala beach, Planatorium in thiruvananthapuram which will be really a pleasant memorable part of final years.

FreshersWorkshop: 

Our freshers show more interest in learning up new things. Their active participation in Freshers workshop shows it all. It was a half a day workshop about 'Photoshop' conducted on 14.10.18. The session was carried out by Manoj Ragav of final year, Mechanical Department. Around 100 students attended the workshop and most of the teams were provided with software installed laptops for better learning and practice. They were taught from the basis to design a poster and were instructed about the usage of every icon. They had a well-defined experience and I'm sure that it will lead to new emerging designers of ACCET.

  Northern Lights:

The northern lights are one magical phenomenon among many other celestial phenomenons. The colours are magical and mystical.These auroras are produced when the magnetosphere is sufficiently disturbed by the stream of charged particles from sun, mainly in the form of protons and electrons, precipitate them into the upper atmosphere due to Earth's magnetic field , where their energy is lost.
The resulting ionization and excitation of atmospheric constituents emits light of varying color and complexity. The form of the aurora, occurring within bands around both polar regions, is also dependent on the amount of acceleration imparted to the precipitating particles. Precipitating protons generally produce optical emissions as incident Hydrogen atoms after gaining electrons from the atmosphere. Proton auroras are usually observed at lower latitudes.
