ZOHO INTERNSHIP

                                      

 An internship supports the students in an engineering college to acquire real-life experience and exposure. Moreover, an internship helps them to gain the best exposure of working in the real world. To offer such an opportunity to our 3rd-year students, ZOHO conducted a small selection process in our campus on 11th  April 2019 in Sangamam hall. Nearly, 150 students from EEE, ECE and CSE department had attended the first round of selection. The first round of selection consisted of  C MCQ questions and aptitude questions which was held for nearly one and half hour .16 students got selected to the second round which is an interview round. After the second round of interview 9 students are selected to attend the internship at Zoho.

LOK SABHA ELECTIONS 2k19:

DEMOCRATIC DUTY OF A CITIZEN

                                         

The Indian constitution which is the longest written constitution of any country on the earth has its Lok Sabha elections in this April starting from 11th April 2019 to 19th May 2019 in seven phases all over the country. The result for the election is to be declared on 23rd May 2019. This election is to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha.

The maximum strength of members in the house is 552. Currently, the house has 545 seats among which 543 members are elected by the people representing either their states or union territory and 2 are nominated members of Anglo- Indian community by the president of India.

There are totally 40 constituencies in Tamil Nadu including the only one in Pondicherry. The Lok Sabha election in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry was conducted on 18th April 2019 except the Vellore constituency. 63.37% voting is registered in Tamil Nadu till 5 P.M.

 This election is so special for those students doing their undergraduates in college popularly known as 2K kids as this is the first time they are voting. All over India students realizing their democratic duty and to validate their democratic rights actively involved in the voting process. Let’s Hope the upcoming government is for people.

Artificial intelligence:

Creativity is a fundamental feature of human intelligence and a challenge for Artificial Intelligence(AI). AI techniques can be used to create new ideas in three ways: by producing novel combinations of familiar ideas; by exploring the potential of conceptual spaces; and by making transformations that enable the generation of previously impossible ideas. Artificial intelligence will have less difficulty in modeling the generation of new ideas than in automating their evaluation.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is an area of computer science that emphasizes the creation of intelligent machines that work and react like humans. Some of the activities of computers with artificial intelligence are designed for include:

•   Speech recognition
•   Learning
•   Planning
•   Problem-solving

Artificial intelligence today is properly known as narrow AI (or weak AI), in that it is designed to perform a narrow task (e.g. only facial recognition or only internet searches or only driving a car). However, the long-term goal of many researchers is to create general AI (AGI or strong AI). While narrow AI may Knowledge outperform humans at whatever its specific task is, like playing chess or solving equations, AGI would outperform humans at nearly every cognitive task.

Research associated with artificial intelligence is highly technical and specialized. The core problems of artificial intelligence include programming computers for certain traits such as:

·        Problem solving

·        Perception

·        Learning

·        Planning

·        Ability to manipulate and move objects

 A captivating conversation is taking place about the future of artificial intelligence and what it will/should mean for humanity. There are fascinating controversies where the world’s leading experts disagree, such as AI’s future impact on the job market; when human-level AI will be developed; whether this will lead to an intelligence explosion; and whether this is something we should welcome or fear.

It’s hard to imagine that having a robot as a friend is a future many of us would desire. But human nature may pave the way for these relationships!!

Napoleon was once attacked by thousands of Rabbits

Napoleon Bonaparte was once one of the most powerful men in Europe, but he suffered an ignominious defeat at the hands (or paws) of rabbits. After a military victory, Napoleon’s chief of staff organized a rabbit hunt to celebrate. Thousands of rabbits were brought in to be set loose, but instead of hopping away when cages were opened, they turned to attack, swarming the party goers. After trying and failing to shoo them away, the great emperor Napoleon ran for the safety of his carriage.

Some planets produce Diamond rain

                           

Saturn and Jupiter are gas giant planets that produce a truly unique form of weather. Recently, scientists discovered that there is plenty of carbon in this atmosphere. When carbon soot gets hit by lightning, it hardens into graphite and falls downward, where the presence of atmosphere hardens it further, until it becomes….a diamond! Storms on these planets may literally rain diamonds as big as a centimeter across.
