The National Assessment and Accreditation Council is an organization that assess and accredits the higher education  institutions in India and it is happy to inform that NAAC has visited our college on 13th February. Each department ,practice cell, laboratory have been visited by NAAC council members . Students are very eager to meet the team with their innovative projects ,also they explained their work well. Grand event of culturals is also organized  which comprises lots of traditional dance performance, which brought ACGCET to the celebrative mode.Evening they had a Interactive session with the students of all years and their parents at the sangamam hall. Night they visited the hostels and scrutinized the quality of food and neatness of the rooms.

ACCET NEWS CO-ORDINATOR SELECTION:
Accet news co-ordinator selection was held on 13th February. Students from various department showed their active participation. The selection was conducted for two categories which comprises content writing and poster designing. Content writers selection is based on their creative thinking and writing skills for the topics given on spot. Designers selection is based on their sample poster making.

The national capital voted on tuesday to elect a new government.Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday retained power with a stunning victory, winning 62 of the 70 assembly seats and leaving the BJP with just eight seats.
The Arvind Kejriwal-led party had bagged 67 seats in 2015.Congress drew a blank for the second successive assembly elections in a city it had ruled for three consecutive terms under Sheila Dikshit.

As per the Election Commission website, the AAP won in 62 constituencies with a voting percentage of 53.57, while the BJP got eight seats with vote share of 38.51 per cent. The elections in the national capital took place in the midst of massive protests in the city and elsewhere over the new citizenship law, the National Register of Citizens and the National Population Register.

Arvind Kejriwal, who returned to power in Delhi with his stunning election victory, will take oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi for the third consecutive term on Sunday, February 16. The oath-taking ceremony will take place at Ramlila Maidan. Mr Kejriwal will be sworn in along with his team of ministers.

Ahead of the oath, as per procedure, Mr Kejriwal is also likely to give his resignation to pave the way for his fresh swearing-in as the Chief Minister.

TNPSC Group 1:

The Combined Civil Services Examination – I is conducted by TNPSC to recruit for Group 1 services in the Tamil Nadu state administration. This exam is also known as TNPSC Group 1.The TNPSC Group 1 exam is modelled loosely on the lines of the UPSC IAS Exam.

The Group 1 Exam is conducted in three stages:


  • Prelims – one objective paper – 300 marks.
  • Mains – three descriptive papers – 750 marks total.
  • Interview – 100 marks
