"Miles to before I sleep"
Have you heard this phrase anywhere before? Many celebrities end their attractive speeches with this catchy phrase without making any sense. But what is the deepest thought hidden inside this single line? This famous phrase is from a poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost. The speaker says, “But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep.” The traveller in this poem enters into a remote area where the weather is soothing, the scenery is bewitching, making him want to stay for a while. However, the speaker needs to continue this journey to fulfil his promises. The speaker is away from his home, where he feels that he needs to repeat this fact to himself that he has miles to reach home. However, symbolically the word “sleep” suggests death and darkness. Hence, this line refers to a long journey ahead before the speaker could go to eternal sleep of death, or it simply proposes that the speaker has many responsibilities to fulfil before sleeping or dying. One should be aware of their short term and long term responsibilities without relaxing in the fake imaginations. Keep this phrase in heart and work with your brain!
I am...
The two most powerful words in the English language are “I am” because what comes after I am will shape our life. Instead of saying I want to be rich, say, feel and believe that I am rich. Never let your words define you, let your actions define who you are. Everybody has a goal, everybody has a dream in their life. Stop dreaming about it, Stop talking about it and getup do something to achieve it. We just have two outcomes in every situation. Either we win or we learn. Let us begin our day with the words I am unique, I am powerful, I am strong, I am successful, I am an achiever, I am determined, I am focused, I am wise, I am capable of anything, I am a winner, I am a champion and finally I am READY to achieve. We must not just speak the words we must feel them and believe them. Mohamed Ali said “I am the Greatest” and he became the Greatest. So, let us believe, I am I am.
