1) ALL INDIA MUSLIM LEAGUE - 1906
The Muslims of India were disappointed by the anti-Muslim stance that the Congress seemed to have adopted. The events following the partition of Bengal and Urdu-Hindu controversy strengthened the desire of the Muslims to organize themselves politically as separate community. The birth of All India Muslim League at Dacca on 30th December 1906 came as an expression of that desire. The Muslim League was founded to safeguard the rights of Indian Muslims. At first the league was encouraged by the British and was generally favourable to their rule, but the organization adopted self-government for India as its goal in 1913.
Reasons for Establishment of Muslim League:
1.Indifferent Attitude of the Congress towards Muslims.
2.Educational and Economic Backwardness.
3.Urdu-Hindi Controversy
4.The Evolution of Minto Marley Reforms
5.The Success of Simla Deputation
6.To Save Muslim Entity
The first session of all India Muslim league was held at Karachi on 29th December, 1907 and was presided over by Adamji Peer Bhai. The effects of Muslim league made it clear that the interests of Muslims must be regarded completely separate from those of the Hindus.

ANSWER FOR LAST WEEK QUESTIONS
1)Answer: Option(C) 12
Solution:
The cow can graze the circular area in the middle of the field with radius equal to the length of the rope.
Area which can be grazed by the cow
= πr2 = 616 sq.ft
Area grazed in one day = 50 sq.ft
Time taken to graze 616 sq.ft
= (616/50) = 12.13 days
2)Answer: Option(A) 1:π
Solution:
Height of the cylinder = length of the paper
Circumference of its base = breadth of the paper
2πr = b
Diameter, d = 2r = (b/π)
Therefore, d:b = 1:π
3)Answer: Option(C) 480m x 320m
Solution:
Raj's speed = 24 kmph
In 60 minutes he covers 24 km.
In 4 minutes he covers,
24000/15 = 1600 m
Perimeter of the park = 1600 m
l:b = 3:2
Therefore, 2 (I+b) = 1600
2(3x+2x) = 1600
x = 160
Hence, l = 480 m and b = 320 m
4)Answer: Option(B) 40 seconds
Solution:
The timer starts after the car crosses the first pole.
Let the distance between each pole be X m.
To reach the 16th pole, the distance travelled by the car is 15X.
The speed of the car is 15X/30 = (X/2) m/s
To reach the 21st Pole, the car has to travel a distance of 20X.
Time taken = (20X)/(X/2) = 40 seconds.
5)Answer: Option(B) 20 kmph
Solution:
Let the speed of the ship be x kmph.
u = (x-4)
d = (x+4)
48/(x+4) = 32/(x-4)
48x-192 = 32x+128
16x = 320
x = 20 kmph.
