ECE SYMPOSIUM

Our college ECE department conducted 26^th Intra-department Technical symposium named “Stalwartz” on 13^th March 2021 in sangamam hall. The function was presided by Dr.K.Manonmani, Principal and Felicitated by Dr.R.Malayalamurthi, vice principal and Dr.A.Sivanantha Raja, HOD of ECE department. The symposium had various events like treasure hunt, PPT presentation, project explanation, technical and fun events and culturals. All the students of ECE department participated actively and enjoyed the occasion of the technical symposium function. It all ended with valedictory event.

EEE SYMPOSIUM

Department of EEE conducted their intra department symposium "Think Quest 2k21" on 13th March 2021 in virtual hall. Dr.R.malayalamurthi was a special guest .The symposium had various events. It includes some offline events like Faraday's friend ,Technical quiz ,Robosoccer, paper presentation and project .All the EEE students participated actively . It all ended with validictory event where all the winners were awarded.

MECHANICAL SYMPOSIUM

Mechanical department recently joined in the line up of symposiums on march 15^th. All year Mechanical students made their proud walk at the start of the day on the way to sympho venue, Murugappa hall. All mechanical faculties have visited the sympho as well. Our beloved principal Dr.k.MANONMANI delivered her speech regarding mechanical sympho. Also,professor U. NADARAJAR gave his priceless words for all students. The four main events of the sympho were mech quiz, assemble and dismantle , water rocket , and paper presentation. The prizes were also given for the winners of those events. The overall trophy was won by the third year mech students. M. SHEIK HARRISH from second year got MR. MECH AWARD. Besides, The Culturals also happened as a way of spreading cheerness among the mech students. The sympho ended with dazzling firing crackers all around . The participated students addressed that it was a amazing time to refresh their soul with excitement and dignity throughout the sympho.

NSS FIELD WORK

Our college NSS Organization conducted a field work for various Departments. The students of our college are actively participated and cleaned the College surrounding . The final year students conducted the Debate program for 2^nd year students. Many students are actively involved themselves in the event.

ZONAL LEVEL COMPETITIONS

HOCKEY TOURNAMENT:

The zonal level hockey tournament 2021 was conducted on the 17th of March on the sun streaked grounds of our college. Players from four colleges had participated in the hockey match, in which Pandian Saraswathi engineering college, Arasanoor grabbed the first place followed by Mount Zion college of engineering, Pudukottai in the second place and our college in the third place.

CHESS TOURNAMENT:

The Anna University zone 16 Chess tournament was conducted on 17^th of March in our college. Five teams participated in both men and women category. The first place was grabbed by our college teams in both the men and women category.

BALLBADMINTON TOURNAMENT:

Ball Badminton tournament for men was conducted in Chenduran college of engineering and technology on 20th march, in which our college team secured the second position(runner).

CODERS'2021:

A state level programming contest for engineering students was conducted on 19th of March in five colleges. Students from 2nd year and 3rd year of ECE department participated in the TOP CODERS'21 and won prizes. The competition was held at Sudharsan Engineering College, Pudukottai. Gokul V, Arun Kumar R and Logeshwaran R A of 3rd year won the first prize (Rs.10,000) as a team. Saanakya S L, Mohammed Alla pitchai M and Sundarapandi S of 2nd year won the third prize (Rs.6000)as a team.
