SUCCESS STORY

Born in 1942, Stephen William Hawking, a world-renowned physicist and cosmologist was the first to set a theory on cosmology, especially on black holes. He was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, the motor neuron disease that gradually made him locked up with his wheel chair, unable to move his body organs except his cheek muscle, when he was 21 years old. The general life expectancy of the disease is just two to three years, but Hawking fought with it till the end of his life. He graduated from the University of Oxford and received his doctorate from the University of Cambridge.

Hawking’s scientific works include the singularity theorem and the theoretical prediction that black holes emit radiation, often called Hawking radiation. Hawking achieved a number of awards for his works and his book A Brief History of Time is still a bestseller. He died on 14th  March 2018 at the age of 76, after living with motor neuron disease for more than 50 years.

The story of Stephen Hawking teaches us to never give up on our passion and also the fact that the impossible could be made possible if only we have the persistence and determination to work towards it.

Where we  are!

Chapter-4

As we have already seen the present effect of corona virus, it is the time to watch our world. Yes, our living place, the world. At least after all these happenings, we should take care our world now. Taking care about the world is not about caring for the world. It is about caring for the people, the nature and the consequences of our effects. As we used to cut down all the trees earlier, we are taking up the oxygen cylinders with us now even for normal breathing. As we didn’t follow the proper nutritional food  intake earlier, we are following some restricted food options now. There is a popular saying, “Nature loves symmetry ”. Yes, the world always gives us the present depending on our past activities. In such case, the world will give us the future depending on our present activities. We, as a whole mankind should form a disciplinary present to yield a better world in our future.

Let’s win the battle and save the world!
