Mandram conducted an online event called “Agadavigadam” which contained 3
section of rounds like connection, song and movie based rounds. This event was
conducted on 17/7/2021. All the students participated enthusiastically. Winners
for this event were also announced.

Inland vessels bill 2021:
On 22
July, 2021 the Inland Vessels Bill, 2021 has been introduced in the Lok Sabha
amid the hullabaloo in the house due to the Pegasus
snooping scandal. This bill will bring
uniformity in the application of the laws which are related to navigation and
inland waterways within India.INSPIRATIONAL STORY
Pranjal Patil, the first visually
challenged woman IAS officer of India was born in Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra, with
a weak eyesight and lost her vision when she was only six. After her
graduation, she cracked the UPSC civil services exam in her first attempt. She
was offered a job at the postal and telecommunication department instead of
Indian Railways Account Service, because of her inability. Not willing to give
up, she took up the UPSC exam again, securing AIR-124 and got accepted in the
Indian administrative service. On October 2019, she took charge as the
Sub-Collector of Thiruvananthapuram. Despite being visually impaired, she never
gave up on her dreams and battled great odds in her life to become an IAS
officer and achieved it too. From her story, we should learn not to give up on
our dreams and settle for the least, no
matter what.

Is partition necessary?
Partition,
in the sense, separation of Tamilnadu. Recently, there are so many debates
going on about this separation. If we say any opinion related to separation, it
would look like a political stand. But, we are not here to make anything Ike that. We are here to make
political awareness. We just want to tell you the happenings. First of all,
there is no official announcement released from the central government till now
about the partition. Initially, a private newspaper sector published the news
regarding separation. To deal with the current subject, we should go back to
the time when our Tamilnadu itself was partitioned from the other states. It is
said that one of the main reasons for the separation is administration control.
But in India, a few states with population more than Tamilnadu have successfully administrated under uni-state
government. Already, we are all separated by culture, religion ,caste, language
and so on. On further separation, we may
forget that we all belong to human species. The Partition may be in the hands
of our government, but unity is the only thing which has control over everyone.
