The Muthamizh Mandram of our college conducted an online event called Vikram vedha via Google meet on 11/07/2021 (forenoon). Most of the students participated actively. The Names of the winners will be announced soon.

IIC WORKSHOP                     

The IIC council of our college has conducted an online workshop on Building an Innovation: Passion for Professional life with Mr.S.Muthuperumal, Technical Director, Alchimica India Pvt. Limited, Chennai as the resource person. The session was held successfully and it was inspected by Dr.K.Baskaran sir and Dr.S.Nageswari mam.

India’s largest solar park to be built in Rann of Kutch:

India’s largest solar power park of 4.75 Gigawatt (Gw) is about to be set up in Rann of Kutch in Khavada, Gujarat. The renewable energy park will be built by the largest power producer of the country, NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of NTPC. The state-run company plans to use the park to generate green hydrogen on a commercial scale.

Born on 15^th July, 1903, Karmaveerar Kamarajar, the kingmaker was the former chief minister of Tamilnadu and also a renowned leader of the Congress party. He was the one who took the first step to equalize education to all with his mid day meal scheme. On his birthday, as we celebrate the education development day, let us remember his ways and learn the importance of education.

Chapter-6

We are living in a complex society now. We are all cascading the things which are not even fit for the current period. After multiple silences this is the time to talk about the issue of dowry. We need not give any introduction about dowry. Things are already known to all of us. But, the issues behind dowry, no one knows. Yes, It may look simple. But, it is not. It spoils many lives. We are not recommending to say 'No' to dowry. What to say is 'No' to short minded thoughts. Yes, the short minded thoughts should be banned before the ban of dowry. Imagine that you marry a girl. After marriage, you get dowry, which is the same as getting paid. Then, It’s not a marriage, it’s a business. We sure that life is not a business. It’s a life.

Let’s kill the short minded thoughts and save the lives.
