MUTHAMIZH MANDRAM

YAAVANA VAARAM

The Muthamizh Mandram of our college had conducted ‘yaavana vaaram’ from 21/03/2022 to 25/03/2022. It included many amazing events to showcase everyone’s talents like poetry, essay writing, singing, drawing, drama and many more, which were conducted every evening this week. Students from all the departments eagerly involved themselves and actively participated in all the events.

NSS CAMP

The NSS organization of our college, conducted a camp for the NSS students. The camp lasted for seven days from 15th March to 21st March,2021. At the request of the villagers, the camp was organized in the village of Ariyakudi. The students did social service in the temples and schools of the village. The students were greatly motivated to do social service on this camp.

LEO CLUB INAUGURATION

On March 24, 2022, the 25th installation of Leo Club of ACGCET was conducted in Sangamam hall at 5 p.m. The felicitation was done by our beloved principal, Dr. P. K. Palani. Er. K. Azeez, president of lions club of Karaikudi, Mr. N. Prem Anand, secretary of lions club of Karaikudi, Mr. R. Vinaitheerthan, treasurer, lions club of Karaikudi, took part in the event and made it a successful one. The presence of Prof. N. Janakiraman, MJF, Immediate Past District Governor and Er. P. Radhakrishnan, MJF, second vice district governor, was enlightening. The first year students attended this grand event.

VALLAL STATUE

The handing over of NTV Common boys mess hall and the opening ceremony of Dr. R. M Alagappa Chettiar statue took place on March 23rd, 2022, Wednesday. In the presence of our honorable principal Dr. P. K .Palani, the Vallal statue was unveiled by Er. S. R. Sabapathi. The statue was constructed and supported by the alumni of 1976 to 1980 batch. The statue was established as a memorial to the sacrifices of the vallal.

Control your temper!!!

There once was a little boy who had a very bad temper. His father decided to hand him a bag of nails and said that every time the boy lost his temper, he had to hammer a nail into the fence. On the first day, the boy hammered 37 nails into that fence . The boy gradually began to control his temper over the next few weeks, and the number of nails he was hammering into the fence slowly decreased .He discovered that it was easier to control his temper than to hammer those nails into the fence. Finally, the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father the news and the father suggested that the boy should now pull out a nail every day he kept his temper under control. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. “You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry, the wound is still there.”

Conduction of exam:

Through pearson VUE and PSI testing center or online proctored exam.
