EEE MINI PROJECT

Students from 1^st year EEE attended the symposium of Francis Xavier Engineering college – Tirunelveli on 26^th May,2022. Having participated in most of the events, their participation in mini project competition gave them a great opportunity to show their talents which had been unbeatably capable of acquiring the 1^st position among several contestants, speaking about their victory, the project that led to it was based on robotics. They were awarded with trophies and cash prizes. Although being freshers to the course, their interest and enthusiasm surprised the experienced seniors.

EEE INDUSTRIAL VISIT

Getting practical knowledge makes us act and think innovatively. Accordingly, an industrial visit has been planned and executed for the third year EEE students on the dates 29^th and 30^th of May, 2022. They were taken on an industrial visit to Kundah hydroelectric power station, Ooty, after an exciting time spent in black thunder. The operation of the power plant, the working of components and the mode of generation were explained in an explicit manner. Doubtless, the knowledge and joy-filled imprint of this visit will remain unchanged in the hearts of the students.

NSS EVENT

Yoga is an ancient art that connects our mind and body. It is an exercise that we perform by balancing the elements of our body. Yoga is a great gift to mankind which helps us keep better and maintain our health. An event was conducted on 1st June 2022 in Murugappa Hall from 4.45pm to 5.30 pm by the NSS unit of our college for the upcoming yoga day. Various competitions like essay and poetry writing and drawing were conducted. The topics were all related to yoga. Many students from first year actively participated and made this event a grand success.

CIVIL INDUSTRIAL VISIT

The most memorable visit during college life is the industrial visit.The most jubilant industrial visit was taken by the 3^rd year students of the civil department from 1^st to 3^rd of June, 2022.They were taken to places such as Ooty and Pollachi, along with Aliyar dam and Pykara Dam.The students were accompanied by the staff in charge, Prakash Sir and Abinaya Mam.The students were also taught about the working and the construction of the dam.The students obtained knowledge from this visit.

 CLEANING CAMP

On 3^rd June 2022, The NSS unit of our college organized a cleaning camp in our college campus from 10 to 11 am.The event was presided by our beloved principal Dr.P.K.Palani, vice principal Dr. Baskaran and HOD of English department, Dr.Kathiresan.Along with Our NSS unit program officer Mr.Loganathan sir, Pauline mam and Geetha mam. All the students from first year attended the cleaning camp actively.The staff  participated in the camp alongside the students.

 TOTAL WELLNESS PROGRAM

Taking the welfare of the staff into concern, a total wellness program was organized in our college for the teaching staff at Sangamam hall on 2nd June, 2022. The importance of meditation was spoken during this program. The chief guests of the program were T. S. Murugavel, Bk. Meena, Bk. Shanthi. Our college staff found this program a worthy one.

PCIe is a widely used bus interconnect interface, mainly used in server platforms.
