INSTITUTION’S INNOVATION COUNCIL

The Institution’s Innovation Council of our college organized a meeting on “How to plan for start-up, legal and ethical steps” for the third-year mechanical students. The session was handled by our proud alumnus J. Kishore Kumar, founder of Karai Visual Photography, on 22nd August,2022. He expounded that one could turn their interests into a successful start up, irrespective of the field. The students felt this session was a very useful one.

FRESHERS COORDINATOR SELECTION

The fresher’s club of our college conducted coordinator selection for the second-year students. The coordinator selection took place on 23^rd and 24^th of August, first round and second round respectively at the EEE Classrooms. It was ecstatic to see students participating eagerly in the selection rounds.

LEO CLUB COORDINATOR SELECTION

The Leo club of our college conducted coordinator selection for the second-year students on 24^th August,2022 in a mechanical classroom. It was amazing to see the students' eagerness to participate in the selection rounds.

ROTARACT CLUB COORDINATOR SELECTION

The Rotaract club association of our college conducted coordinator selection for the second-year students in EEE Classroom on 25^th and 26^th of August, 2022. The students gave their active participation in the selection rounds.

SMART INDIA HACKATHON 2022

It's an immense pleasure for our college, as the final year students from the CSE department participated in the grand finale of smart India hackathon 2022. Our college students participated in the grand finale held in Maharashtra and Telangana on 25^th and 26^th August, 2022. The participation of our students is highly appreciative.

VOTER-ID AADHAR LINKING PROGRAM

The Devakottai division of the TN Revenue department conducted a camp for linking Aadhar with Voter’s ID on 26^th of this month in Murugappa Hall. The Revenue Inspector was present with his office. “Voter Helpline” an existing mobile app service to access various e-services subjected to NVSP and the voter’s ID was introduced by the respective department to the students of our college and instructions regarding form 6b corresponding to the Voter’s-ID Aadhar linkage were given. The Government is upholding its responsible position to its people and it is always our negligence and ignorance that tampers the reliability over it.  

VACCINATION CAMP

A vaccination camp was held at our college on 26^th of this month at the Sangamam hall. Many students made use of this camp and took their booster dose.

APTITUDE TRAINING CAMP

Students of 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th year of our college had been given training in the aptitude domain by a trio team of professionals led by Mr. Gopi from Connect for a period of 6 days. This arrangement was brought to us by the alumni fleet of ACGCET. Around 180 students had been trained. The camp started with an initial assessment and ended with a final assessment test in order to grade the effectiveness of the camp. Every day of it covered 4 wholesome topics in the aptitude domain with a recap at the day’s end. Students were very effectively trained which should’ve supposedly unlocked their skill to share their knowledge which was the whole purpose for the camp to include 2^nd and 3^rd year students.
