ECE SYMPOSIUM

It’s been a wait for the students of Electronics and communication department to have an intra-level symposium. This time, ECE association had planned a three-day symposium “TACHYONZ'22” on 26th Nov, 28th Nov and 29th Nov.

Day one comprised of various technical events under the name “MATRIX” (knowledge battle). On day two, a workshop was arranged by the ECEA on topic “Trust and Security on Internet by CDAC”. Day three, the most awaited one. Our Principal, Dr P.K. Palani sir and Vice Principal Dr K. Baskaran sir were invited for this big day. Mr. S. Sasikumar, Head, Information Security Zoho Corp was invited as the Chief guest. He gave a superb presentation. Credits of this successful symposium goes to Dr A. Sivanantha Raja sir, Head of ECE, Controller of Examination & Coordinator of ECEA, and Dr B. Rajesh Khanna sir, Assistant Professor of ECE dept. Their presence enhanced the day. It had a memorable agenda which had fun events in the forenoon and with great lunch, followed the cultural time. All the faculties and students took active participation on all the three days and made the symposium an awesome one.

CSE SYMPOSIUM

DEFTERA 2K22

College Symposiums help students improve their technical knowledge and give them a platform to showcase their talents. On 2.11.2022, the intra-college symposium for computer science students known as deftera 2k22 was held in the computer science department. The technical events were ideathon, hack overflow, read only memory, techno synthesis, the non-technical events were hotchpotch, ctrl+f, get hired, and lapse eviction. This deftera assisted students in identifying and comprehending the various aspects of their domain, allowing them to develop their versatility and charisma in the various aspects of their growth.

SEMESTER EXAMS AND COLLEGE 

Both 2nd and 3rd year students of all departments had their semester examinations from 16th December, 2022. These assessments were held to evaluate their academic performance for the 3rd and 5th semester respectively. Final years had their 7th semester examinations starting from 28th December. Every student wrote their examinations in the allotted venues of our college with integrity.

COLLEGE REOPEN

After the completion of semester examinations held from the mid of December, everyone had their semester holidays and the college was reopened on 4th January, 2023.

INSTALLATION OF VARIOUS CLUBS

ROATARACT CLUB INAGURATION

The Rotaract club of our college conducted their 15th Installation of the club on 07.12.2022. The office bearers of the team YUKTI for the year 2022-2023 were introduced on this occasion in the presence of the principal in charge Dr. Sivanesan sir, the faculty in charge Mr.V. Pradeep sir and all the Rotaract dignitaries.

LEO CLUB INAGURATION

The Leo club of our college conducted their 26th Installation of the club on 09.12.2022. The office bearers for the years 2019-2023 were introduced in the glorious presence of our Leo coordinator Prof. Natarajan sir, Leo in charge Prof. Jawahar sir and the respectful guests of honour from Lions club of Karaikudi cosmos. The Lions club had arranged an enticing dinner. Music can travel to every nook and corner of the world and that was proved by the wonderful performance by our Music club of ACGCET.

FRESHER’S ASSOCIATION INAGURATION

The Fresher’s Association of our college conducted their 12th Installation of the association on 12.01.2023. The office bearers of the association for the year 2022-2023 were introduced and the presence of the faculty in charge Dr. B.V. Bhuvaneswari ma’am, Principal Dr. P.K. Palani sir and Vice Principal Dr. K. Baskaran sir made the event even more precious. There was also a wonderful performance from our Music club of ACGCET that received wonderful responses from everyone.

PONGAL FUNCTION

It’s that time of the year everyone, where we celebrate one of the biggest festivals – Pongal. Muthamizh mandram of our college organized a pongal celebration on the 12th of January, 2023. Teachers, students and every other staff of the college had come to make this celebration an event worth remembering. A lot of games were held and everyone took part with great enthusiasm. The celebration was held successfully and let everyone feeling a sense of gratitude for this auspicious festival.
